  This is a great weather app. I have a very accurate atomic clock in my backyard in this weather app is always within 1° of it. I love the hourly weather predictions as well as the 36 hour and 10 day outlook. The radar is also excellent. I have never had any problems with it.

  LOVE the Weather Channel app! I often get warnings / advisory messages before my weather radio alarms. This is a safety feature I depend on. Also use it to check situation of sites away from me - my dad in another state, travel plans. Delete other apps when phone gets too full, but not this one!

• Not bad, radar needs help

  The app itself is not bad at all. The only thing I find frustrating is that the radar will usually be anywhere from 15-45 minutes old. That of course makes it horribly inaccurate when you're trying to figure out when weather events will be headed your way. Just wish the radar was updated more often. Other than that the app is good and for the most part very accurate.

  I have been using this app for 2 yrs & find it the easiest & most accurate from others. I ESP like the feature that allows you to save numerous cities as faves to ck in on their weather. My friends & family across the country access this all the time! It makes you feel more connected.

  I love this app! Specific examples: •Notifications whenever there is a weather advisory in the area •When it's raining/snowing/etc. it tells me when it will end •current/historical Satellite views of cloud cover, temperature, etc

  I'm good with the layout and speed. The forecast has been wrong. In 36 hours it predicted 1-3 inches of snow would fall while all other media predicts 6-8". We got 6". Today the current radar isn't accurate. I need more something reliable.

• Horribly inaccurate

  The only use for this app is the radar. It is almost always horribly inaccurate. Examples include it saying that there will be 100% chance of rain for the next four hours, but there not being a cloud in the sky. Another example is how it has often forecast a 0% chance of rain for the following day, and then it pours. The forecasts are so bad that I was beginning to wonder if I had accidentally put in the wrong city, but no, it is pulling forecasts for my city. I've heard that the forecasts that the weather channel uses are actually 24-48 hours old, which might explain it's inaccuracy. I got an app for a local news station that provides far more accurate forecasts and will be deleting this one. A shame, because I like everything about this app other than the actual forecasts.

  Fire the team that designed this app and the website. Unpredictable, crashes, doesn't load at times. Both site and app need less bs pretty stuff and ads, and more reliability. I don't look at my weather app for pictures of flowers or ads for new cars. I need a reliable presentation of what the future weather may hold.

  The app gives accurate reports and has a lot of options. It's way better than the iPhone app, except that the newest version freezes if you don't kill the app between views. Also, they got rid of weather pictures and have ads for the background, which is fine, but it used to be better.

• Radar Map not great

  I gave this app 3 stars because the radar map needs adjusted. I don't look at the map to see what happened in the past or what's in the future. I want to know what's happening now. So instead of using your Radar Map I use accuweathers. I do love the 36 hour description.

  I really like this app. Lots of great features like weather alerts and actual forecasts, something you can't get with the pos Yahoo app that comes with the iPhone. I just wish the yahoo app could be deleted as it is a waste if storage space.

  You'll notice the 36 hour forecast is pretty much spot on. When you see an usual weather situation happening 7-8-9 days out in the future, figure that it could happen a day earlier or day later. You could get more or you could get less. When you consider it's an electronic model that they use, with typical parameters, it's not too bad but don't look at the long term as set in stone!

  Sure, it runs a little slow, especially on an older model phone, but that's to be expected from an app that has so much info to update and process. I think it's great otherwise. Has been useful and accurate in my line of work as a landscaper. I can't think of any other app I trust as much to plan out my work day

  I was so glad for the last update that got rid of the ads in the main screen background until I opened it today and we are back to ads again! STOP IT WITH THE ADS! If this wasn't the best weather app I could find I would delete it out of annoyance!

  Fair weather reporting - as hit & miss as most. With amazing new technologies, it's hard to understand why you (and others) are mostly so inaccurate - especially when it counts. Your TV, website and apps concentrate on far too much constantly repeated peripheral boring non-interesting programs/information. Try & get the weather right before attempting to become a relative TV station.
