  Best app ever IMHO. Easy fast way to find places to visit. Love reading people's tips and reviews as well. When looking for a restaurant or store suggestion I always hit Yelp first. It's the only way to get an honest opinion about places.

  I love the app. My fave thing to do is check in where I am and redeem the special offers from that. I haven't had many issues, except sometimes it'll just freeze and not allow me to choose anything. Suggestion: make the filtering process more simple.

  We all know Yelp is about. My only critique is when businesses move or close. I've driven to locations only to find they no longer exist. I find myself calling ahead to make they are still open or viewing the date on the most recent review. That is all.

  I recently joined Yelp to write reviews for some of my friends bar/restaurants b/c they are wonderful establishments and Yelp seems to only post poor reviews. Of course NONE of my 6 reviews were legitimate enough to post. Why, because they weren't bad? Why because I am a new Yelp user should my reviews not count? It doesn't make me want to continue Yelping that for sure! You say my reviews are legitimate, but you post bad reviews. What about the bad reviews being from neighboring restaurants? That's not legitimate. Small business owners work their butts off to bring their passion to life and to stay in business. Your website only hurts these businesses if your "automated computer" decides positive reviews don't count.

  I love this app! When we want to go somewhere it's great to get reviews to see if we even want to go! The only thing is that I don't like that good reviews get deleted and bad ones they keep!

  Yelp is not a helpful app or site to get real reviews that will help you decide on businesses to go to. They clearly censor reviews that are critical if a business pays them. Or the opposite as well.

  Yelp has helped my business tremendously. On a daily basis I hear from new customers that they've searched online for a barbershop and read my reviews on yelp and decided to give me a try. Yelp has been more successful for my business than Facebook or any other grass roots marketing. I definitely recommend this service to any and all business owners.

  Yelp is my go to app when I am looking for restaurants and services anywhere I seem to be. I also enjoy the ease of locating restaurants and being able to map them out and bookmark places I enjoy. I suggest the possibility of separating favorites vs wish list. This way the user can go directly to one or another without having to sift through a long list.

  Just moved to a new area & Yelp has been super handy. I've been using it for weeks to find all the best places to eat, locations of stores in my new area, and even which shows I might want to see for an upcoming trip to Vegas. Love Yelp as a user. Haven't posted any reviews yet, so I can't speak to that component of the app.

  I have a great deal of respect for what this program does and how it allows us to keep an eye on what we're doing. I admit fully to using the program as a form of memory as it is my memory that has had somewhat alarming issues for the last couple of years. So with this said, the program does a pretty solid job of finding all spots I have offered to it as well as tons of spots I never would have dreamed of before and have now been to. It is this that really makes it earn it's five stars. The web site is still poorly executed and looks terrible on the phone, thankfully the APP looks great and even more that they allowed the posting of reviews right from the phone which is a very important issue for me.

  Your rating system is a joke and flawed beyond any usable means. No one takes your ratings seriously and I wouldn't be surprised if yelp gets sued on a regular basis! I am thinking about starting a class action lawsuit against yelp because their rating system is so badly flawed, and it wouldn't be the first lawsuit yelp has faced, they are an evil and greedy company, using small businesses as their stepping stones, thereby destroying peoples dreams because of greed! If I could give them less than one star, I would!
