  As an avid Uber user with two large dogs, I would love to see pet-friendly drivers identified clearly on the app, or have the option to "declare" my dog so the driver can choose whether to pick us up. Here in NYC, many pet owners rely on car service companies to transport dogs and cats, which aren't allowed on the subway or in most taxis. Über would be a great addition to this method! Thanks.

  I've been using uber for a while now and still love it. I've used it in LA, Minneapolis, NYC, Toronto, Houston, Sydney Aus, Melbourne Aus, Singapore, and Shanghai and while the cars available in each city may vary, the overall service quality is alway excellent. There are times when I can't get an uber car, but that doesn't happen too often and is very city dependent. This was my favorite app of 2012 and most used transport app in 2013. I've used it in 9 cities around the world so far and it has worked flawlessly in each one. (See note on international usage at the end of this review). Definitely worth trying. Saves me regularly and has been getting better with every month. Latest addition works amazingly well. Fare splitting allows you to split the cost of the uber across as many people as you like. Works great! Customer service varies from city to city, but I'm yet to have an issue that caused me to contact them. Usually it is the local Uber office messaging me to keep me updated on local device changes, promos, or to apologize with a credit if I unsuccessfully try to book a car. Great service, great app, great company.

  Uber works just like it says it does! I just used it for the first time in San Francisco and it's perfect! You don't have to wait and wait and wait like other services around. As soon as you request your ride (urberx car is the cheapest) and confirm location, an uber driver lets you know how long they will be (usually just minutes!). You can see a picture and name of your driver and they let you know when they are arriving. Its great because you can just charge the ride to your PayPal and hop out! Use this code L2ZRR to get $20 in uber credits!! That's what got me to try this out and no regrets over here!

  Love uber, especially uberX. A couple suggestions: A user needs to be able to preprogram locations such as "Home", "Work" so one does not constantly have to change/update pickup location if the map is 1-2 blocks off the current location. The uberX drivers generally have no idea where they're going. It's fine because they're all very nice but sometimes it's annoying when you tell them to take XYZ Main Street which is a major arterial street and one block away and they look at you as if crazy or they start punching into the GPS. Definitely cannot sleep/work through these rides.

Uberx cars are nice and clean..although sometimes you have to give drivers directions (no biggie if you know the city. Worse, if you're somewhere unknown to you).   Having lived in NYC for nearly a decade, I've had my share of cab rides. Uber, when needed, consistently comes through. Many poor reviews here on the App Store are related to experiences with the drivers themselves, not the app. Coupons are easy to use, and app is straight-forward.   Used Uber last night for the first time. Didn't quite know how it was going to work, and if it was going to be reliable and much to my surprise it was a great experience. Tap the app requested service had a reply with a couple minutes that they would be arriving within 5 minutes. Didn't need them that quickly so it gives you a option to text, call or cancel the driver. I texted him that I didn't need him for about 30 minutes. He immediately texted back that was fine. He didn't accept any tip and then when I checked my bill online, since it was my first time he didn't charge us anything! I will diffinitelynuse use the Uber App again

  My wife and I were enthusiastic users and supporters of Uber in Washington, D.C. from the start. We brought them many referrals. We used them all the time, even when a cab was available. Then that began to change. They started charging premium rates - 1.5 to 3 times the normal rate - as a "feature" to "help" us when demand is high. The laughable logic behind this is that it will incentivize more drivers to come out to pick us up. Right, like yesterday at 3:15 P.M. when they charged 1.5 times the normal rate. Or 2x a previous time when it was early, or, well, you get the picture. This is pure greed, showing a cynical disdain for the customers who fought for them in this city. Now, I think, the city was right in attempting to regulate them under the taxi industry. Now I support this. Now I will use them no more. A very good alternative is HailO, which we used for the first time last night, and is much cheaper. HailO hails cabs, which is why we turned to Uber in the first place, as there was no reliable means to do so before ("Dispatch" being a complete and cruel joke).

  In the beginning I thought Uber was great and have brought them many customers of which none use the service any longer. This app would be great for sparing you to have to hail a cab in the snow or cold weather.......only problem is you'll never get a cab in snow or cold weather because there are "no drivers available" ever (eventhough Ubers way to fix this is for you to agree to pay 2.0x the regular fare prices to try and get more drivers on the road....which is ridiculous and still doesn't work), oh but you will get 20 text messages apologizing that there are "no drivers available" and to check back later so we can waste more of your time searching. It didn't even snow on the last occasion but was below zero and Even though there were 2 cabs within 5 minutes of me sitting on the map, they declined my request. I live on a Main Street near downtown and hailed a regular cab by the time I was to my corner (always cheaper too). Bottom line, if you live in an area populated with cabs (which are the only areas that have Uber), aren't too lazy to put ur hand up and want to save money, don't use Uber. Also, if you use UberX do not count on the driver and his GPS to know the best route, because they don't. Tell them the best route to take so that you don't have to worry about Uber crediting you the difference in what the fare should of been later. Thanks for not helping me get to work this winter Uber.

  They are way better than waiting for a cab or using taxi magic! They drivers are prompt, and easily trackable on their app. The drivers are very nice & professional. It costs a few dollars more to rent a black car over a taxi, but totally worth it. Some of the drivers even offer complimentary bottles of water! Very clean automobiles, and the best part, you don't ever need to carry cash. The black cars link to your credit/debit cars, so you never have to carry cash. Not to mention tip is included! I suggest using this app to anyone! I'll never go back to a taxi again. I've never used uberx, but the black cars are amazing! Try them out; you won't regret it!

  I first used Uber because I was referred by a friend of mine with his promo code and thought it was amazing and decided to give it a shot. The promo code said there was a 20 $ for the first ride so great a tried it , it turns out not only was I charged for the ride but it turned out to be a concurring transaction which meant I was going to get charged more and more. I would advise anybody not to ever use this scam. No wonder why this company is being sued and hopefully it gets taken down the app store.
