  Most of my matches tend to be 20 something miles away. That's ok. The issue is most of them also only accept messages from people closer to them. I think if that's the case they shouldn't be available in my match list. It makes no sense to show me their profile, get me interested, then tell me I can't talk to them.

  I do not like the "permanent" notification on my badge. If I get a notification and open the app to check it, then the notification in my badge should come off. But it stays on my badge. It keeps showing that I have a new message when actually don't. I don't like that.

  POF has a horrible history of completely erasing your profile for no reason. They don't reply and they don't tell you why. And if they do it's vague and completely irrelevant to you. Whoever runs this is doing a disservice to the folks that join to meet a special someone for whatever reason it may be that absolutely is nobody else's business. Answer your customers and enough with erasing peoples profiles.

  I would give negative if I could! I can understand that glitches happen with a update roll out but to go from having no badge notification problems to it constantly having on when you hot fix the problem and a month later it's still like that. Now for the people who are rating the service pof offers that's not rating the app. Talk about what features you like or dislike on the app, the glitches what you want from it. Saying you meet nice people doesn't help a programmer improve this app

  Pof keeps deleting my profile for unknown reasons. I haven't violated any of their terms and they don't give you any explanation. Only thing I can think of is they're assuming I'm spam of something. Very disappointing site and can't contact them regarding any questions.

  This app has the notification badge permanently on. I think they have it this way on purpose to mislead you into accessing the app more frequently. Also, the service is extremely limited without paying for the upgrade. Not impressed.

  So I had not been on pof for 6 months and rejoined yesterday. Talk about a Hot Mess, the first guy to contact me stated in his profile how he was tired of meeting women who only want his money, then he proceeds to upload a pic of his @ick. The second guy to contact me only seemed interested in himself n telling me how he was about to get in the shower. I deleted/hid my profile late last evening after another guy sent me a nasty msg about still being on the site. I never did or said anything mean to anyone...just a site full of angry, bitter jackholes so be aware!

  Great app other than the fact I can't get rid of the badge notification. This was marked "fixed" in the last release, yet it's still broken. Only way to reset is to turn off POF notifications then back on. Or uninstall an reinstall. Very annoying.

  The app works great making it easier to navigate POF. There is a glitch in the system though. The App icon will show new messages when there aren't any. And when there are, and they've been read, it will still display that you have a new message. No biggie, but it would be nice if it were accurate.

  There are some clunky inefficiencies and the app could look and feel smoother and prettier, but it basically gets the job done reasonably well. It's smoother/prettier/more functional (in other words, better) than the ChristianMingle app, but not nearly as nice as the OKCupid app.

  Do NOT get the upgrade or PAY for any upgrade. It is a scam. They claim that by upgrading you can see who and when someone views your profile. This is NOT true. I searched who views me, clicked on their page. At the bottom, it tells me when they were last on, and says "this person has NOT yet viewed you." So, if they come up as viewed me, then it says they have not yet viewed me? Then I just paid $89 for a feature that is FALSE advertisement. A little mad about this. Have called pof to get a refund immediately. Got an answering machine. Hopefully this gets taken care of and I get reimbursed. Disappointed. And I had to write a nice title or it would not let me post this the first 30 times trying with how I really feel about this site.
