  I use my dictionary quite a bit and find myself going back and forth between my readings and Merriam. Not to be petty, but, it would really be nice if the cursor was to start in the search window upon launch. Absent that, Merriam is nearly my "go to" dictionary.

  This is a major problem: On at least three different occasions, the sentences give to show the use of the word in context are listed under the wrong definition. For example, I was looking up the word 'rape' to find the date it was used to mean 'to kidnap'. The 1st definition is about the rape plant, but the sentence example uses it as 'forcible sexual intercourse'.

  please include more words. i am reading the great divorce and i can't but notice the book uses words that were only used in the past? i prefer using the webster dictionary so please update.

  It is a good app except for the fact you cannot print a word and the definition you receive from it. Please think about making print option available.

  I like it, it's just that the voice control is really bad. I use the iPad automatic voice control instead. Otherwise, it's pretty good. I agree with others, I don't like the font size.

  Been a very long time user of this favorite app. Since recent update, the font size has gone too large to read. Please add a setting that allows us to adjust font size.

  I installed iOS 7 on my iPad & the audio pronunciation has since stopped working.

  This is the by far the best offline dictionary. Precise with its definitions, and has a a few synonyms too, to accompany each word and a sentence or so to explain the word better. The yellow star to "favorite" the word, has been replaced by a blue one at the bottom. Thats fine with me,

  Word to the wise. pay attention before you in app upgrade. Merriam Webster needs to do a better job identifying their apps. The name, info i version was no help. Finally figured out one had a gold ring in the icon where as the other just had red and white with no gold. Gold means dictionary and thesaurus. Now I can delete the dictionary only one.

  I think this app is the best it alway have the words I'm looking for. The definition is very detailed down to the simples form of understanding. It also breaks down the meaning of other words within the definition, I think it great.
