  My two year old can quite picky, but he loves this story and app. He flips through the story all by himself.

  The app itself is great, as are the other dr Seuss apps we own. My reason for three stars, it does not work on my old iPhone 3. I had given it to my daughter and she's been able to enjoy all the dr Seuss books so far, until this one. My own fault partly as I usually download from hers first to be sure it's compatible, but I thought since the others worked we'd be fine.

  I can record the entire book in my voice, or my child's voice. The pages play back your voice as the pages turn and show the words, too. My daughter can play back whatever voice she wants to listen to the story! How wonderful is that!

  This app is great! Used it today in an efl class. The kids really liked it. They listened to each page and then read/repeated. They really liked touching the screen for the words of the picture. Great features for both early literacy as well as for English language learners.

  I have purchased three of the Dr. Seuss books through Itunes for my grandsons. The three different reading options make it fun for all of us. If I am busy, they can listen and follow along on their own. When I am not I get to read the greatest children's books ever written. I will eventually have them all! THANK YOU ITUNES!

  I bought this as a preview for the collection. I have the print version for my son. This is exactly like the print version, but with little touches. I like the sound effects when he speaks while underwater. I like that my son can touch things and hear their names - like a wheel, train or hat. When I read to him, I'm often asking him to identify things on the page. I wasnt happy about buying this book, because I own the print version but I don't have buyers regret. Don't remember what I paid, but $2.99 would be a perfect price for this book.

  My children grew up on the Talking Books CD version of Green Eggs and Ham, which was had lots of interaction on every page. So when I bought the I-pad version of this book, I had very high expectations. (This is not false advertising, it is my going-in bias.) This book is really focused on teaching reading, not on being a game-like experience. It does a very good job on what it has chosen to do. Well done.
