Dealing with this app is a daily frustration. Needs to be closed and re-opened repeatedly in order to display content properly. Freezes intermittently.
I bought this app so I would not have leave the house. All the app does is freeze up n close STINKER!!! someone needs to fix this I wish I could Get my money back
This app constantly crashes and the only fix is to uninstall the entire app and then re install. All past issues that you have saved get deleted so you lose access to what you have paid for. Customer service does not seem to care and offers nothing to compensate you for lost days, just apologizes. This is what we New Yorkers call a RIP-OFF. They should be thrown off of APPLE until they can offer a service that works.
I just signed up and very very unhappy. Its impossible to copy or forward an article? This is not worth it and I will probably cancel.
News is not accurate.. According to our "Source" the down-market New York tabloid newspaper is very close to start marketing the paper to the ghost community due to very low circulation to humans. Sad ):

I was never a big fan of the NY Post but after this weekend's edition, where they poured copious amounts of salt onto the fresh wounds of the Stark family, I am beyond words! Where is their decency and respect for humans? Is it really all about numbers?? Having had so many opportunities to undo the damage with a simple apology, a retraction - then boldly and arrogantly proclaiming that they have nothing to apologize for is stooping to the lowest of lows. I will NEVER buy, nor read this disrespectful publication again.
They're not ashamed to write 'sources' on blogging comments that they want to use in articles, they accuse people of crimes all day long to fit their own agenda.
Disgust is what you bring to print, no journalism , no facts, no news, and dont even decently apologize .........?????

A horrible newspaper they have no feelings for other people. They encourage the death of a innocent man and they refuse to give an apology????!!!!!!!! Not enough that the fine man Menachem stark got brutally murdered. But this DUMB paper goes ahead and adds on to the grief of the family and salting the wound by stating who wants this man dead?????? How about think about his eight young children who will never be the same and his wife. SHAME ON YOU NY POST!!!!!!!! Hopefully a big boycott will take place on this disgusting paper.

Writing with human blood
It used to be my daily nypost, but it hasn't worked in a week. I'm sure I'm still paying for my subscription, but it won't download at all? No way to fix or re-install app on iPad. Almost as bad as healthcare.gov. I take that back. Obamacare website works now and my nypost app won't
UPDATE: Today is January 2, 2014 - almost 3 months since my October 8, 2013 review/complaint, and unfortunately my old review is still valid. Here it is: The pop-up menu choice to share an article by email just doesn't work, and hasn't for months. I have reported the problem several times over that time and have been told that they are working on it. It used to work, so how hard can it be to make it work again? Please fix it or take the "option" out and don't advertise it. IT DOESN'T WORK.
For over a year it worked fine. But for the last several months I can not get to the current issue without powering down and then restarting my iPad. Today I can't get to the current issue no matter what I do. It is getting progressively worse. When you contact support you either get a robo response or a dumb answer that doesn't even address your problem. Support is worthless. You can email these morons all you want, they will not respond. Don't waste your money.

It looks like others are having the same problem.mi have not been able to open an issue since 12/09/2013 and would like to be reimbursed for those days without an issue to read. When this app works I keep myself informed while traveling overseas. This is very frustrating. Elaine Y
Do not purchase.
Since ios7 the app no longer works properly. It's a disaster and beyond frustrating.
It takes many minutes and attempts to open the paper. All I get is a big red NYP front page. So frustrating!

This is the worst app. It's the only app I have ever seen that blatantly doesn't work. You pay for a subscription can can only read the paper on a sporadic basis. A 13 year old paper boy would provide better tech support than these bone-heads.
For the second time in 2 days when reading the post, the app will crash, when I go to open the newstand, the nypost logo comes up, then the whole thing crashes again. Since the app becomes part of the newstand, there is no way to remove the app (that I have found) without hooking the IPAD up to the desktop and deleting which wipes out all the saved issues and I have to start all over again. I have emailed support and got nothing but an auto response.
