  Magic piano is lots of fun and features gameplay that reminds me of playing Guitar Hero many years ago. The app would be much better if more colors were added so that the player could better differentiate between 2-note, 3-note, and 4-note chords. Also, the timing/tempo seems to be off with a number of rock songs and some songs missing notes in the same genre. Overall, great game.

  I have an older iPad that can't upgrade to ios 6.0. Whenever I try to open magic piano now, it just shows a message me telling to update the app. I can't update the app because it is incompatible with my iPad. Magic piano will not let me play the app without updating but I can't. Please fix this.

  It's clearly not my internet connection because I can write this review. When I try to play a new song or a song I haven't played in awhile it tries to download it and says "Resources not found." Please fix.

• App gets more bugs with every version

  In less than a year, my rating has gone from a solid five to between a one and a two because of unfixed memory bugs, resource loading errors, and failures taking the app out to the os. These prevent me from playing songs I have purchased (in some cases) when the the app first came out. Sometimes, I can play songs by restarting the app, but often, I can't. I really hope you guys take this more seriously soon!!!

  Still not working with iPad !! Also another one of the newer songs said cannot get resources! I was able to get " We R Who We R but I had to make sure it would play by hitting the button on the left of the song to see if I liked it! I'm using an iPad if it helps but the update still did not fix the problem getting resources. The song "Can-Can) will not load. Bought for 25 smoola three days ago. It says couldn't find resources. I emailed you too. I'd give it a five star if I spent 75 smoola for a full song and not a partial one, other than that it's a great app, at least they are adding new songs a lot now days and it's the most addictive app I have. Please add the song by glen hansard called " this gift" and please don't make it VIP, I can't afford a subscriptions lease don't ask me to reinstall this because I'm on level 64 and got all my achievements except one

  This app is really cool! But what is needs to do is make a website or a new tab on their website for piano sheet music for all the songs on Magic Piano app. Cause they got to get those songs somehow. For all those piano players (like me! :D) out there that would like to play these songs on a real piano. (This idea might not be well thought out, but it's all I got!) And I agree with what Wholock said. There should also be a keyboard so we can see what notes we hit. I would really like to be able to play Magic Piano's version of Night on Bald Mountain. I could just write down the notes when I hear them, but it would be easier for the other two ideas. Other than that, 5 stars!!!!

  I am so disappointed in this app and can't even begin to imagine how many people have been scammed for this poorly developed "update." Before, I was able to purchase points one time and be done with it but now, if you want to purchase more smoola, it will only give you one option to purchase an on-going subscription that will self renew unless you go back and turn off the automatic renew. First off, I tried that and I had the hardest time logging in. I followed the link to cancel and I could not find it any where on the website. With kids running all over the place, I just totally forgot because it took so much back and forth trying to simply turn off a subscription. I received a bill for the renewal this morning for a stupid app my daughter used for 6 minutes some time ago last week and I can I only imagine how much profit this app is making for other people not realizing their in for automatic renewals until they receive the billing statement in their emails. It's so slimy, and they ought to just go back to the way they were before with the "no strings attached" set packages. Be careful!

• No longer works on iPad 1

  This used to be a great app I enjoyed playing on the iPad 1. It's too small for the phone, so I used the iPad for it... until the latest update came out. It can't be downloaded onto the iPad 1 because it can't be upgraded to iOS 6/7. The current iOS 5 app should be fine, then, except that a message forcibly kicks the user to the App Store and it can't be used anymore. This is a complete denial of service against iPad 1 users who can't upgrade the app but could still use the available online features to purchase songs, etc. I'm not asking for iOS support, but at least allow the app to keep functioning, please.

  I've had this app for about 1-2 years and I've played it a lot. I still like to play it every now and then. It's still fun, but lately the devs have focused less on the app and more on making money. So many in-app purchases. VIP, ads, Smoola packs, etc. The one additional feature I would like to see is the addition of a "play a random song" button. Not much of a big deal, but it'd take the hassle out of looking for a song to play. Still a fun and addicting game. 4 out of 5 stars.

  I love this game. But I had a strange glitch that has never happened before... I was playing in a middle of a song when one of my alerts about my other app popped up at the top of my screen. But I ignored it and then all of the sudden the sound of the piano went away... So I cut it off and tried again? Still no sound. then a thing during the game kept popping up saying "would you like to continue the video? If you don't, you will not collect a reward." This usually pops up when I'm PLAYING an ad, expect... No ad was even playing. So I kept saying "cancel video." And I tried Another song... And the sound of not only the piano but the sound effects of the game are staticky, and glitchy. I can't fix it, so check that out.

  This is the best app of its kind, but there are three problems: 1. VIP is waaaaay overpriced. 2. Over 3000 XP for level 12??!!!?!?¿!!!!!¡ What the heck is this??!?!?!!?1211?!?1?! 3. (Grand Slam Failure) All of my instruments beyond harpsichord make the songs reeeaaaallly laggy unless it's on practice mode. If this isn't fixed next update I might delete this app. Please fix this.

  Having issues with the app exiting itself out - NONE OF MY OTHER APPS DO THIS! It just acts like I double tapped my home button and sometimes opens a different app. Also, it has random moments of being kind of slow and I can't do anything and then it faults me for being "slow"

  Every time I try to load a song it says it cannot get resources. Seems I have to be connected to the internet just to use it, and even when I am, it still says it can't get the resources. Also, the ads are frustrating considering how insanely much money I've spent in the last buying songs, and now I have to be VIP just to buy certain songs? The greed of this company has just become overwhelming. A five star game has now become two, if that.

  This app is one of the best I've ever played. I take piano lessons but some of the songs I'd like to play are yet to be learned and this helps me with that. The game also helps me with my counting, telling me if I am going too fast or two slow. Perfect game to pass the time. Definitely deserves the five stars I gave it.

  I have to say this is the best Piano app I have ever played but, there is some problems going on the game. I can't play Tinkle Tinkle Little Star Mozart Variations, I really enjoyed playing that song before the new iOS 7 update. Please you should fix the problem as soon as possible. :)

  I love this app so much, I play on it all the time! I just love the sound of a piano. But I wish there were some more song choices. I know there are a lot but I'd really like to be able to play "Bella's Lullaby" off of the movie Twilight. I don't know how to suggest songs (if that's even possible) but I'm posting this as a suggestion sort of.

  I really like this app! It has really cool songs and it's super fun! I've heard that "buts" are for pooping and I should appreciate what I have BUT this thing is going on my nerve! There is this "problemo" going on in MY app. I'm not too sure if this happens with other people because it can't gather the right resources to load my favorite songs. So in this rate I sometimes get this feeling, " Man. Should I just delete this app... Oh no way IM ON LEVEL 28 I can't loose it!" So I'm ONLY just begging you guys to fix the bug before I ACTUALLY delete this. ;3

  This is my favorite app. Something i have always wanted with the magic piano is that there could be a section of my favorite songs. Not just all songs but the songs i really like so i do not have to scroll through all of the songs to find 1 song. That would be an awesome update. But this app is still great without that update. U can think of almost any song and can play it like a piano. BEST APP EVER!!!

  I really like this app, it's really cool. It would be even better if you could see the keyboard at the top while playing. Maybe the note that you hit is the note that lights up at the top on the keyboard. So if you play a wrong note, you could see what it is on the piano. It will probably encourage people that really love playing piano to actually try a piece that they learned from this app in an actual piano. It could also encourage young minds to start playing the piano, and they could even be able to have a basic learning in music. I play piano at my school and my teacher always talks about how you have to have a basic learning in piano to join music theory. Most people didn't even know where C was. This app could not only be a fun way of exploring piano, but it could also teach people how to play the piano.

  I love this app, but the one thing I can't stand is when it tells me I'm being too slow.. but I'm trying to play the song the way it sounds.. And it always seems to want to rush me. I'd rather be able to play the song the way it feels in the way it sounds rather than having the app tell me I'm playing too slow. Messing up is one thing, but having a longer pause at the end of that set because you're playing it with feeling is another. I think that should be fixed. Make room for a real or with feeling pause.

• A few suggestions

  This is a very fun game. I've had it for over a year, but there are still some things I would like to see happen. Firstly, when accidentally hit, for example, 4 fingers instead of 3, don't make it automatically take a note off the next one in line. Because then what should be a 3 fingered note becomes a 2 and it all just gets very confusing. Also, I wish you could play the songs at your own tempo. Some of your default tempos you want us to play at are way too fast, at least going by the original song. And when I try to play slower it tells me I'm doing it wrong, when in reality, I'm just playing how the actual song goes. Finally, maybe make the songs actually worth the 75 coins I spend on them. I have downloaded quite a few songs that are like, 20 seconds long. I used my coins to play an actual Demi Lovato song, not a little snippet of it. There's no way to know with the preview you give us if it's going to be a short song or a long one. So I really wish you'd fix that. Other than those few things, fun game if you're bored. Definitely kills time.

  I wrote in about an issue I saw others having. I was told to delete the app then reinstall. No admission that the problem might be on their end and accusations that it was the user's fault when a song wouldn't load. If it requires the time of deleting and reinstalling, that certainly sounds like the app's fault to me. And even after reinstalling, the problem eventually crept up again on different songs and instruments. All that after paying for the week long VIP pass. I don't believe the customer is always right, but sometimes the demeanor in which you handle a problem says a lot about your customer service. Very unhappy with their lack of service and tact.

  The sound bug from version 6.0.3 was fixed, and now works properly. Thanks for fixing that major bug. Here are some performance reviews by the supported devices I own: iPhone 3GS with iOS 6.1.3: Works great, but tends to lag sometimes. iPad 2 with iOS 7.0.4: Works almost perfectly! iPod touch (5th generation) with iOS 7.0.4: Works almost perfectly!
