REQUIREMENTS

  I'm writing this as an old DJ from the 80's-90's, and I have to say this is the most fun I've had in my iPhone EVER!!! No more turntables, no more records,no more speakers. All you need is your iPhone! If you want to save money on the cable for cueing, go to RadioShack and get this instead. It's a Y-adaptor, and the model number is 274-375. The cost...? $1.63 tax includes. Have fun with this thing!!!

  For beginners Such as myself who are Fascinated with Music & The Incredible Awesomeness that is DJ-ing this IS THE app... Even tho I do it for Fun not for a living I am So/So @ it... (Major Respect to You Disc Jockeys Out there) but I am still always the honorable DJ @ any & all Parties that I attend (not really Parties more like get togethers) I would have given this app 5 Stars but didnt not due to the app its self but mainly for The Difficulty in which a Noob like my self Has @ really getting Started! I'd prefer either more in depth "How To" videos or a Clear cut way to Take the lyrics outta of a Song But keep the Music... Idk if the latter one is even possible or If there is a way to do that but I'm almost 100% sure that u can't! & that makes it really hard to make a Great sounding Mix.. But thanks for the time & effort that has been out into this great one of a Kind app.

  Good app but the only problem thats been happening is the CUE POINTS! It removes where I set the cue point & minutes later when I load the song again it puts random cue points. 4 stars for now until ya fix that.

  I use this App to playback a mix I've created. I can change the speed and mix an instrumental track of the same song together with a vocal track to get an idea of an extended version. The EQ is great and the loop feature is quite useful. I only gave it 4 stars because it won't (or I can't) keep the song in place after being away from the App. In other words, I have to start all over. But it's a great App and the fault could be mine. So I give it an actual 4 and a half stars.

• Love the app, but...

  Sometimes it crashes for no reason, or while I am choosing a song on one side of the "turntables" while on the other side a song is playing, there will be a pause and then the song resumes. Please fix this! Oh and it would be so great if this app had a sharing function to Facebook or Soundcloud.

  I'm a big fan of this app. Love the new features and the only thing I wish it had is the samples that the iPad has. Otherwise it would be an awesome iPhone app I have djay In my laptop djay for my iPad and my iPhone now I have downloaded djay2 for iPhone and iPad djay2 the best app ever. I don't have a problem mixing my music or if I have to take a break I set it live auto mix and I can relax for a while...thanks for the new updates.

  I myself had a mobile dj service at one time but got out of it because it started to become a job and wasn't fun anymore, but after downloading this app and playing around with it, it makes me want to start djing again. This app is great and so much freaking fun. I love it! Wished I would have known about this app before, I would have stayed djing. Great app, definitely should have if you plan on becoming a dj. It's fun and easy, and great if you need a dj for a party but can't afford a live one. You can set up this app, use your music library and it auto mixes for you.

  First off, I have used DJay for several years and love it. The beats per minute counter is almost always correct. The new DJay is way off. The Blue Danube is 180 BPM, but the app says it is 117 or just a slow waltz. This can be problematic if you are spinning for dancers. I will not use this app, until it is fixed.
