The Story

King Arthur had long been revered as Britain's champion, providing the fair land full of life, wealth and peace. Knights and Druids alike found serenity with one another. Jealous of Arthur's adoration from all, the evil Queen Morgana vied to destroy everything the King protected. Upon discovering a dark relic, Morgana and the Black Knight invaded Britain, casting a spell and consuming all life before them.

The great Merlin tells a story of a hero in search of the Holy Grail - Britain's only hope. For Britain to be what it once was, a call to arms is desperately needed. King Arthur has summoned all Knights and Druid allies on a quest for a hero to rise. But who can avenge Britain and find the Holy Grail?

  I like the game. It is fun to play. There are a few things that could some improvements though. The first is to find some use for the gold you accumulate. I have over a million gold coins and nothing to spend them on. Another is to make it possible to obtain Jewels without having to buy them. To have enough jewels to build your troop significantly you have to spend a lot of money. This is not the only game in the great cloud so if you get to the point where you can't expand your troop, people might loose interest and look for another game in the iStore. I encourage the developers to keep improving and make the game a little easier to hold people's interest.

  So far, so good. Game mechanics are relatively easier to understand compared to similarly styled card games. Story is easy to follow and gameplay is fun to watch.

  Game is descent- drops during regular summoning weak in which rarely get 3 star cards- heck haven't gotten a single one unless used a summoning stone- arena play seems a bit rigged in which most people much higher levels- otherwise good game and I've avoided spending any money.

  This is one of the best card games I've ever played on the iPhone ever. It has flaws like all the game. For one it really is money hungry. You can't go far in this game unless you use money. No matter how much you save your gems, tickets, etc.. It is still in demand for money. I just went into an arena, and used over 700 tickets, and only placed 12th. That's insane. I saved up everything. Every last ticket and even tickets I earned in the arena I used. So have as much as you can, but don't expect to get far useless you're willing to drop cash on the game.

  This is a great game! However it's is definitely a money waster. Without spending money on card packs it is very difficult to get any decent cards. Also there is no way to trade cards with other players, which would be a very interesting addition in my opinion.

  An enjoyable game for all ages. Good art work. Needs to be associated with Tap Joy so players can earn gems without cash. Need to establish more quests and battles for guilds. Getting better but still second to Kingdom Age.

  Any time and money invested is worth it if you are into this form of entertainment. The randomness and vast combinations possible alone are worth picking this game up. The general chat within the game itself is extremely helpful. I do recommend including the option for a name change within the tutorial. 5 Stars for the great change of pace in app gaming!

  I busted my butt not spending money and I made it to the 60th rank in a arena... I did not receive my reward. It's messed up. Wasted my time. If it changes, I can change this review. Until then, it really wasted my time and effort.

• Farm drops

  You need 8 of same cards to level a card to full potential. However, in order to level a card you need to farm for lower level cards and the drops in this game is horrible. It costs a dollar to renew your stamina. So not only must you spend money on getting new cards but must spend money in leveling your cards. The game designers won't listen to the player base to resolve some of the biggest issues. Save time, money and frustration. DO NOT play this game.

  No big use for gold, no way to earn, even slowly, any gems. Would like to be able to trade cards or buy them with in-game money and at least someway to earn some gems. Great game though.

  All in all the game is entertaining and a good time killer, while waiting for a bus or train or such, yada, yada, yada. Now, the drawback, I don't mind paying for decent apps (this one would be worth a small fee) but, it appears that spending a small in-game amount would be inconsequential. One would have to continue pouring $$$ into this game to justify the initial investment. It has potential but the model needs to change. What's with all the gold you're constantly awarded? It's good for nothing!
