Cashy-Backup Finance App Review (iOS, $54.99)

Description

This application can only be used together with Cashy-POS cash register application!

Cashy-Backup offers an additional, very comfortable and secure option to backup your valuable cash register data onto an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad.

Minimum requirement: iOS 5.1.1 on iPhone 3GS or iPod touch third generation

Both devices running Cashy-POS and Cashy-Backup must be located in the same network.
Using the option "Send database to Cashy-Backup application" inside settings of Cashy-POS (Manage Cashy >> Settings >> Backup/Restore), the iPad starts searching in the network for other devices running "Cashy-Backup".

If you press the button "Receive database" inside Cashy-Backup, the application will show you a code to enter a code into Cashy-POS on the iPad.

After entering the code, the data transfer from Cashy-POS to Cashy-Backup will start. Just wait for the success-message.

Inside Cashy-Backup you can rename and delete the databases you received from Cashy-POS.

The restore function works same way, just use "Restore database from Cashy-Backup application" from Cashy-Pos and "Send database" from "Cashy-Backup"
