• Fun but...

  Fun to play and I love the table top mode, however I find that it takes up a large amount of memory, almost 1 GB. I feel that it is a little excessive! Other than the size requirements it is a fun little game!

• Fairly easy, but fun

  I like to play against a couple of AI players on the "Difficult" setting, and usually beat them - but not always. Once you get used to how the AIs make less than great strategical trades, you can beat them at their own game. In fact, you have to, otherwise they'll gang up on you. I haven't played this game against other humans, yet, as no one else in my household enjoys board games. But it's a heck of a lot better than not getting to play Monopoly at all, which has been my situation for years!

• Perfect, except file size

  I've found this app to be excellent. Visually, it looks incredible. As far as gameplay, it allows you to do anything you'd want to do (legally). Controls are a little confusing, but not too bad. But, according to my usage statistics, it takes up nearly 1 gigabyte of space! For me, that's so huge that it nearly outweighs the quality of the app. Great app, but way too big.

  Most parts of this game work well but when playing tabletop mode there are some issues when passing. The game crashes when 2 people are playing tabletop and one chooses to pass on a property. As soon as they bid, the game crashes. It did this about 10 times in one game making it too easy to pass on property and unfair. Fix this please. Using an iPad Air so it's not related to lag. Other than that issue the game works well.

• Too many busy animations

  I love this app and appreciate its loyal translation from Parker Brothers cardboard to digital. But please clean up all the busy animations, such as the line drawings that obscure the game board every time doubles is rolled and tokens go to jail. I also have noticed some sloppiness with the audio tracks not in sync with the animations. I liked the older version better.

  This game is good, has a good amount of options, fairly decent gameplay- though the screen is a bit busy at times, maybe removing the fade away on letters and reducing number of things like money symbols flying across the screen- the tutorial offer on startup is a little annoying, this game definitely needs a worldwide or gamecenter multiplayer, able to pick other random players to play with. Other than that I have no major complaints.

  After seeing all the negative reviews, I expected the worst. I was pleasantly surprised to find everything working nicely. The single player is a blast and the computer AI is smart. I also enjoy the tabletop multiplayer that works wonderfully with the iPad screen space. My only gripe is the high memory usage (which is nearly 1 GB). It isn't terrible, but I can see why it may be an issue for others. [I have not tried playing multiplayer with multiple iOS devices, so I can't judge that. And for those giving one star ratings about the cat, grow up]

  Needs a space constraint and also the user playlist doesn't show the songs, so I have to uninstall reinstall for it to get rid of my songs! HELLO?!?!

  If you are looking to play monopoly but not buy the board game, then this app is perfect for you. The display and graphics of the game are of high quality. This game is really good and fun for the whole family and I have yet to have any crashes. This app takes my monopoly experience to the top and I am sure that it will do the same to others

  Running on ipad air: 5/5 stars no crashes after four hours of marathon game play. Graphics are superb on retina ipad air and every animation is fluid and detailed. BUT the biggest issue is the cheating computer opponents on hard level. The dice is rolled to their advantages and never have I played monopoly in which some body (in this case the computer) rolling 7 double six and rolling numbers to avoid landing on my hotel properties. Clearly cheating or terrible algorithms for human players making computer players have the advantage. I once had the computer avoid my hotels on boardwalk and park place a total of 32 times. While I land on their hotels more than 40 times continuously. The game gets so frustrating because of the poor dice cheats from the computer players. I can only give the game two stars because it's computer players are just plain cheats. Also makes incredibly dumb trades. Overall if not for the computer players cheating I'd rate this game a high 4.5 stars. Too bad there isn't multiplayer online. It would be worse actually because human players would probably rage quit more than the computer fixing the dice! For the next update if ever, please fix the computer cheating when rolling the dice!

  Okay if you're gonna make an app at make it not crash every time i open the goddamn thing. I deleted a ton of worthless apps that i occasionally use to play this because i like monopoly and it still doesn't work. If I could rate this no opinion i would buuuuuuuut, i cant because life is just unfair proving this true by making an app that I spent a couple dollars on crash every time i open it thus, not letting me play this legendary board game.now if this is my fault then I will accept the blame but if it is their fault i swear to god i will throw my ipad out the window and murder athe person/team who created this app.

  For some reason if you're playing with more than one human player it picks one and gives them every bad roll, every bad chance or community chest card. If you put hotels on a busy space no one will land on it,while you just so happen to land on all of their most expensive properties. Unplayable.

  I have played several hours of this game and several games. I know I have bad luck some times but in this game get ready to have ALL of the bad luck. When landing on the chance and community chest cards 97% of the time I pay out, fined or go to jail. When the ai lands on them it receives large sums of money. 78% of the time I land on "go to jail and/or all of the tax squares" thus causing me not to collect the 200 along with paying out the 100 prior to passing "GO". When playing the ai I find it more frustrating then enjoyable due to the fact the cheating is so oblivious and right in your face. The odds of anyone person always landing on the negative cards and not being able to pass "GO" and the ai always getting payouts and not landing on another players property are highly unlikely. Until they fix the cheats with the ai I can not recommend this game. I do however hope the developers read these comments so as to make the game more enjoyable.

  If you are looking for a game where you waste an hour only to get destroyed by the computer. on easy. you picked the right game. This game is terrible, and beyond frustrating. In each game I played, the computer continued to roll double after double. Literally each AI player had 2-3 doubles in each of their first 5 rolls. you do not get the true feeling your playing a board game everything about this is rigged.I gave it 1 star.

• Frustration with trick dice

  It is a fun and addicting app (when it works correctly) but I am frustrated with the trick dice. Even carefully placing the stylus on the desired square the token lands on the adjacent one. I have just deleted the app from my iPad 4 and would not recommend it.

• Non Random Dice and Poor AI

  while the graphics are decent, the game is slow, limited playing pieces, unimaginative functionality, etc. But the two biggest issues are; 1) the supposedly random dice become decidedly non-random when you play against the AI, and 2) the AI players make property trades that are obviously and statistically not in their favor. Each player is supposed to act in their own best interests, not make stupid trades giving one AI player a distinct advantage. That is just bad programming.

  Bluetooth and wifi games are lost if the app is left. So makes it pretty useless to play with friends. The moving camera while others are rolling the dice is very annoying. It would be better to be able to see the whole board the whole time as an option. Why a max of 4 players? Why no online games with strangers or friends? Overall it's fun, but it could be so much better.

  Gameplay is fine, as you would expect. The captions that accompany the play actions with animations off are very slow, we need a skip option. It's hard to follow the action with animations off and there's no way I can find to at a glance see all your property in a Deed Card style view. Also, at end of game we cannot see the final layout, or save our winning results. All in all worth the money, but this supposes the game will DEVELOP over tine....

• Huge file size and too much bling

  All the flashy star explosions and animations need to go. This game causes seizures! And 950 mb for a board game is ridiculous. Scrabble is only 50 mb. Monopoly for ipad has too much extraneous bloat to justify keeping on my ipad let alone playing it. What a waste of $.

  Please please update one line of code to allow one human player table top mode. This is killing me. I want to play monopoly on the ipad and have it feel like the boadgame. That's called table top mode which is perfect EXCEPT for the fact that you can't start a game with only one human player. Why? There is no reason for this. Personally i don't want to see all the non-table top mode annimations; i just want to play monopoly. That's not too much to ask is it?

• Cheats, wth with the cat?

  If you update, it gives you the cat -- and you lose the iron. This is not a physical version of the game, so why on earth would you eliminate a piece? Not like you have to make them at a factory. Very frustrating that it essentially plays with loaded dice and the "IA" players make deals when not their turn and in ways no real players ever would.

  I bought this app so my wife and I could play Monopoly without the task of putting the board game together. I bought it, it won't even download... and then I go report a problem and ask for a refund and "This app is not eligible for refund." apparently. Don't buy this app, its absolutely terrible.
