As a follow-up to Endless Alphabet, set the stage for early reading success with Endless Reader! This app introduces "sight words", the most commonly used words in school, library, and children's books. Kids need to recognize these words by sight in order to achieve reading fluency. Recognizing sight words is advantageous for beginning readers because many of these words have unusual spelling, cannot be sounded out using phonics knowledge, and often cannot be represented using pictures.

Kids will have a blast learning sight words and their context and usage with the adorable Endless monsters. Each word features an interactive word puzzle with letters that come alive, and then a sentence puzzle with words that become what they describe. See the word "dog" as a barking dog, and the word "up" reach for the sky!

  I have a 11 month old that is amazed at this app. He will sit through almost 15 minutes of it and try to move the words himself. Quite a clever app.

  This app is fantastic but for $2.99 I should get an a-z experience. The extra "packs" should be more words a-z, not the second and third thirds of the alphabet. That's just silly. Essentially, to get 26 sight words I have to pay $9?! Really? Ouch.

  I left a bigger review on "Endless Alphabet," but my 22-month old daughter can read thanks to these two apps. She loves them so much, and just can't get enough.   My almost 4 year old has been playing with the Endless Alphabet and Endless Reader apps since they came out. I have bought every pack that has come out because my son LEARNS with these! They teach him the word and the definition as well. I couldn't love this app more and I have nothing bad to say about it.

  I downloaded this app for my toddler son and he loved it. So, I bought one of the read packs thinking it could transfer to his ipad but it doesn't. Other than that, it's a great app. I'm just very disappointed that I have to pay another fee to add it to his ipad.

  Great app for the price. Excels at teaching phonics, sight words and introducing new words. Love how it shows the number and the number word for those particular ones...i.e 2/two. The story telling puts it all together for the child to comprehend and makes for a great teachable moment all around. Love doing this app with my 3 year old!

  this is a great app! nice compliment to endless alphabet. the reader's voice is perfect, rather than the usual sappiness in early childhood apps. just the right amount of visuals and excitement. one suggestion; read the sentences more slowly, and offer an option to highlight the words as they are read.

  It's never too early to start reading and this fun game really puts fun and learning together. The vocabulary words used in a sentence helps the concept come through. No penalties for not getting the answer right the first time keeps the kiss wanting to learn more and more words.

  He knows his alphabet, this reinforces it. He's learning sentence structure and fitting words like a puzzle (just like Mom does with writing her book!) We both love Pinkerton. He cracks up at Pink during 'funny'. And mimics the silliness. So even after he's done playing with the app, he still plays with me and we can 'make funny faces' at each other all day. :) Its a very cute and sweet app for kids and adults. The monsters are cool but kind and cuddly. Super-educational. Just buy the whole app. It's worth watching you kid burst into hysterics. XD

  My youngest (2YO) and her older sister LOVE these Monster Apps. However, one small bug (but not a biggie as it doesn’t interfere with game play) is that the letters in of some of the words in the reader packs are not lining up in a straight line (e.g. HOUSE).

  My three year old daughter absolutely **loves** this app, and chooses it over non-educational apps! She will spend stretches of time on this, and can operate it completely on her own. There are no ads, no popups, no random screens that she has to ask me to read. She can already identify the sight words in books we read, and she's only had this app for two weeks! I am so happy that there are new words to add, as she is burning through them quickly! The only thing I wish the developers would add is a highlight function when the sentences are read--highlighting each word as it is read would help her connect what she hears with what she sees, as some of the words in each sentence are additional to the sight words taught. This is brilliant technology and brilliant design for getting pre-readers interested and engaged in learning. Hands down, this is **the best** educational and fun app out there! ETA: I rarely, if ever, purchase apps or add-ons for any of my children, or myself, for that matter. But the new word packages are worth every penny of the $2.99. And I cannot imagine I would be uploading new words for her very often, as each package comes with about 25 new words.

  I have an almost 2yo son and a 5yo daughter and I recommend this app to anyone that will listen. The animation keeps this so entertained that they don't even realize they are learning. It teaches phonics but it is so funny and silly at the same time, that my kids just laugh and keep replaying it. My son started playing this app when he was about 16 months and it really helped him pronounced letters correctly. This and Endless Alphabet are our two favorite apps!

  I have a lot of apps for my grandson, age 4, and this is, by far, his favorite. He is entertained, involved, and laughing as he goes through the words. He is usually good for about 20 minutes on an app. With this one, he is happy for an hour or longer. I have all the words available, and am waiting for more. I am hoping they will offer Spanish words, too.

  My daughter (3) loves the Endless Alphabet App, so I knew this would be a hit. She loves the animation and funny noises, but has no idea she is learning sight words. I wish I could have bought just one full pack of words and get updates with additional words instead of buying multiple word packs.
