  • Teaches children to be snotty winners

    by wbhilton

I don't like how the states in the stack grin like goons as other states topple off the platform to their demise.

  • Response to Missing Countries

    by ภถุึคตจขช

No.. just No... *facepalm* those 'countries' are COLONIES OF COUNTRIES!!! French Guiana Is Part Of France And Western Sahara isn't Independent enough or not a country in some countries. I Just Can't... Do Your Research Next Time!!! oh And BTW This App Is Awesome.

  • Perfect

Except for a few things that might be wrong this game is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)!!!!

  • We love it!

    by Imagine13

My 3 kids and I learn so much from this game. A fun, educational game.

  • Pretty cool!

    by HavenandMaisey

This is cool but you should add all the other countries on there.

  • Love it!

    by Prof. Torg

I started with "Stack the States" and have a blast playing with my five and eight year old. It's addictive to try and unlock all the games while learning capitals, landmarks, and flags. Stack the countries is really challenging and I'm looking forward to trying to learn all the countries. Fun way to play on iPad and not have my brain turn to mush.

  • Fun game

    by Kelly Dayanne

Fun game, not 100% accurate or correct all the time

  • Missing Country

    by FaceFighterUltimate Pro

This game is nice, but French Guiana is missing in South America. Also, Democratic Republic of the Congo has to be changed to Zaire. Because that name is too long.

  • Amazingly Educational

    by Sgfdcvfdhg

I love this game. It is great for practicing for the Geography Bee.

Good game but they need to add Vatican City

  • could be much better

    by desertmonkees

My four year old daughter loves this app just like she likes Stack The States but this app is much harder for younger kids who want to learn. Because you are dealing with countries, a much bigger scale in comparison to Stack The States, an outline of the countries or some sort of x-ray feature would be great to give hints for location, shape etc. The game "Map It" is just plain useless when dealing with placement etc. Some countries are just to small to even begin to see never mind placing them. A double tap zoom feature would have been nice for this part of the game. Her exact words "what? I can't even see them, sigh!!!" For about 2 bucks it's a good deal but could be better. The program designer left out much to be desired. This app could be so much better. I feel it was not really thought out very well. As mentioned in another review, the landmarks etc. should have a picture to go with them. If the program designer had given x-ray features (borders), hints, pictures for everything, zoom in etc. this could have been easily a $9.99 app or more. I got this for my daughter because she loves Stack The States and because of that game she has learned so much for a 4 year old. Stack The Countries is lacking in the wanting to learn area with a little help for a younger audience. If you have a younger child don't waste your money because they will even have a hard time guessing. It's a shame that such features are left out because these really are the better apps of this category. Because of this I'm only going to rate 3 stars.

  • Great Game also Answer Comment One

    by Łęrdêß

First off i am going to comment about comment one. So, French Guyana is not a country it is a disputed territory owned by France and Western Sahara is owned by Morocco. Now to say what a great game it is! Stack the countries is a great game for people who want to learn about geography. Myself I am a great person for geography so yes it is a great game! This is my review. I ALSO RECOMMEND STACK THE STATES IF YOU WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT US GEOGRAPHY.

  • Great supplement for geography

    by Home school Moma

Fun interactive game. My kids really enjoy it. They supplement it with there home school geography curriculum. They have the whole US down with this game.

  • Could be better

    by Riosgirl

Why no Antarctica? It is still there!!!!

  • Terrific

    by Paxxalor

An extremely entertaining way to learn world geography!

  • Missing countries

    by Geoff_12889

Would be five stars but it's missing some countries…at least two that I've noticed so far. One in Africa (Western Sahara ), and the other in South America (French Guiana). Not sure why these were omitted from the game. Maybe the developer had some reason but I'm not sure what it could be. Otherwise this is a great app to learn geography, even for an adult like me.

  • Not geographically correct with Russia

    by gormamic001

This app is great, but there is 1 major error, COUNTRY SIZE. They got the questions right, its just that if a child was learning from this, they would think Brazil is larger than Russia. I get why this is (if Russia was its actual size, it would be impossible to lose), but if MY child was learning this and I quizzed them and asked "What country has a larger land size: Australia or Russia?" and they answered Australia, I would delete the app ASAP.

  • Such a great app!

    by Stelsaacie

My kids really love this app, as well as Stack the Countries! They have no idea they are learning so much, with the fun they are having. It never glitches for us, and I can use the settings to focus on any aspect of the questions.

  • Amazing! Although, update is expensive.

    by Sosuperawesome

This app is exceptional! It is a great educational app for ages 6-9 especially. I was very excited when I found this app for my 6 yr old son. He fell in love with it and even though it was expensive, we bought the update. The lite version only lets them earn a certain amount of countries. Stack the states is also unbelievable. I would recommend you get the full version, but don't upgrade from there. Thank you!

  • Game is fun and great

    by State-catcher

The game is very fun and great, and I recommend it to children learning about the world. The only thing I have to say to remove is probably North Korea, and they should make the mapping easier. Some of the countries I can't see when I am mapping.

    by SaltLakeVix

This game I could play all day! It is such a great educational game for kids in any grade!! It dose not have any freezes or makes you stop in the middle of the game which some games do but not this game!!! I love it so much and there is another one to called stack the countries!!!!!

  • Educational fun

I have found this delightfully challenging in that I am learning where countries really are on the global map. I just wish there were more levels for increasing difficulty.

  • Amazing

    by joehug1973

My children have learned so much from this app and Stack the States. My 5 year old can place all the states on the "map it" part and my 8 year old can find about 95% of the countries of the world now. And it's all from playing this game. I recommend it to everyone who has kids. I've learned a great deal of geography too! Well worth the money!

  • Amazing game

    by Qųxŵœźįñģ

It's the greatest game ever, but it should include mountains and rivers and other landforms. It should also include religions. Other than that, it's perfect!

  • Fun way learn geography!

  • Stack the Countries is the Best Game Ever!

    by Anton Manada

I love this game! It is fun and educational at the same time. I already learned how to memorize where all the countries are in North America and South America because of the Map it! It helps me so much and I learn a lot from it! It is also so enjoyable to play it and there are even two extra bonus games and they are fun so much too! I totally love this game so much. I once played it for six or more hours straight! I play it all the time and it is a fun way for me to learn and play! It is so awesome. I love Stack the Countries! <3

...starting point for learning world geography.

  • Fantastic game for the whole family

    by kiwi343

This is an extremely fun, addictive game. Our daughters (10 & 8) started playing this a week ago and learnt so much that we started playing just to keep up with them! The questions are a great mix of challenging and easy that keep all of us learning without getting frustrated. The girls have both won enough countries in the quiz section to unlock two additional games. The first extra game requires them to place countries in their correct place on the respective continent while the second requires them to recognize the country by outline alone. We will definitely buy the USA version once they have finished this one.

  • Amazing

    by Sherreye

I have traveled extensively and thought I knew the countries pretty well. This is adding to my knowledge. I have learned where many countries are located that I did know existed.

  • Awesome app

    by CeCe07849

  • My daughter plays this nonstop

    by Jacob Hantla

My 5 year old knows geography! She loves the bonus game letting her learn where countries are within a continent . We learn together while earning countries to stack. Super fun and educational. Complaint: the north and south poles are screwed so large that we can't even make out smaller countries in North America and europe.

  • Good

    by G-Star!!!

Great game but the countries aren't to scale.

  • Only one thing I don't like about it

Overall a terrific app. But it misrepresents the relative sizes of the countries.

  • Incredible!

    by Matt12354

My 7 year old 1st grader has learned all the countries in a few months.

  • Lots of fun

    by xx000o

Challenging yet lots of fun for the whole family.

  • Love it!

    by HayleyPOP

This game is so much fun, I love to learn and this game has helped me brush up on my geography. I would recommend this game to parents for their kids. Since I downloaded this game I haven't felt the need to download any other.:)

  • Stack the countries

    by Duet girl

This is an awesome game. Everyone is writing about their children, but as an adult I am thoroughly enjoying it, especially since the names of countries have changed in the last 30 years. I also personally enjoy stack the presidents , and have refreshed my memory. It came in quite handy after a visit to the George W. Bush Library, as I was able to locate countries on the interactive globe, and was familiar with the presidents. Don't let the kids have all the fun!!

  • Awesome

    by casidia

    Best game that I have!

  • Educational Fun!

    by PestQuestSupply

Great App to learn Geography! Bought this for our 6 year old daughter to learn/play together. We/she loves it!! Also, got her a Social Studies Award in Kindergarten :) so proud. Stack the Stacks is awesome as well. Hoping for more educational apps similar.

  • Bought this for my granddaughter, but I love it!

    by Jmeltonga

This app is helping me as well as my granddaughter to be more aware of where events are happening in the world. Also, I am learning to appreciate how large or small the countries I hear about on the news each night really are.
