  I love the idea of this app. I hate it's implementation. It is difficult to find courses by category; lectures on literature, for example. Even harder to only find audio or only video courses. Worse, it slows my phone to a crawl when downloading anything. Even browsing the courses takes seemingly forever. Downloads will halt without providing a reason. Try to download more than three lectures at a time and - the phone freezes. Always. Once a course is downloaded, navigation is still almost impossible. To see other lectures in one course, you need to turn on 'subscription' or it will appear to be empty. I wish it was a better app.

  This was an excellent talk outlining field research completed in Fall 2013 on both the US side and the Mexico side in areas of high emigration. Main points include that as long as the 8:1 earnings disparity exists and US employers are hiring, economic considerations will lead rational wage earners to head to the US to work. Land border between US and Mexico is the deadliest in the world with over 23 times the number of people killed at the Berlin Wall - but they still make it to US jobs. Law makers would do well to understand the futility of policies designed to prevent and/or punish immigration from Mexico as long as 8:1 earning disparity exist, but could get tax revenues to offset the costs if it would make pathways to legal residency and calibrate work permits to market demand for unskilled labor. Would be a five-star presentation if could have seen slides recferred to in talk; hard to follow without seeing slides.

• Almost everything I ever wanted to know!

  This is the app that makes an ipad worthwhile (this and the games). There are an incredible array of subjects taught by knowledgeable people. You can go as fast as you want when you are learning a topic. I've gone through three so far and have about 15 more on my list to do.

  Good app. Fixed the speed adjustment which is a great feature. However, there is still an issue with downloading. I will download the lecture, then when I hit play it will re-download but only half the lecture. Therefore I have to use my 4G instead of downloading on my wifi.

  I started using iTunes University back in May 2013 to prepare for going back to college. Once in college, I've been using iTunes University classes to give me an edge. It's great to be able to listen to or watch lectures on a mobile platform like the iPad.

  It's good, but please add support for swiping to go back. It's really sad that's not implemented. The active button state isn't consistent with the rest of iOS 7. Tapping back renders the chevron darker blue and the text remains the same color while elsewhere both become a lighter shade when tapped. Please be consistent. Thanks!

  If I pause a session and come back to it later, it's never in the spot I left it. Sometimes it will restart the whole session, other times it will pick up randomly in some position earlier that I've already heard. Almost makes this app useless to me

  I am very dissapointed with this app. I was initially very excited to get this app, but upon trying to download it on my 4th generation iPod touch, but an error message popped up that this app rewuires iOS 7 or higher. When is iTunes going to learn that there are still many iPod touch/iOS 6 users out there!!

  I was working on a project, and I went to get in a different page but nothing would load up. I try to go back, but that wouldn't load either. I tried to reinstall the app, but it won't reinstall or download at all. I tried different methods to fix it and make it install but nothing is working, please fix this because I need this for the information on my project.

  One of the reasons I loved iTunes U in the past is because it allowed me to change the rate of playback speed on my lectures. The button to change the speed of the playback is still there, but it is unresponsive. Please fix ASAP. Don't make me have to change all my files to Audiobooks in order to have the functionality that iTunes U has had since it began.

  This update ruined iTunes U since the speed control button no longer works. It just says 1X and can't be changed. I like that it now has skip ahead and back 15 seconds buttons but without the speed control it's useless to me so I'm using the speeduptv app

  I like the redesign, and I think iTunes U is a great platform. But the video player has some major bugs. It is nearly impossible to get through an entire lecture without the video freezing on my iPad with Retina Display.
