  If I could, I would give this app ten stars, and not just five. The app was very simple to install on my Mac’s, all of them, and worked from the moment that I began using it. It was also easy to switch between Mac’s for control of each one simply by logging off one and logging into the next, which took only seconds. I really wanted this app for accessing Scrivener, which I use heavily, and it was just as if I was sitting in front of my Mac desktop, but on my iPad. This adds extreme portability, which was my goal she I don’t want to take one of the Mac notebook computers along for just a short time. Definitely worth every penny of the purchase price (I was somewhat skeptical at first until I had downloaded it and began using the app). I look forward to even more updates and upgrades in the software as time goes by and improvements continue to be made. Update: I was also able to access my wife’s notebook computer when she has issues and I’m not there to assist her. I can take over the desktop on her notebook computer and guide her through the issue until it’s resolved and explained. This is a BIG plus for me.

  This app was my favorite of all time. Then it happened it just stopped working completely. It will never connect to my home, says its of line every time. Then in my office it will connect but changes my screen to black and nothing is there. I then have to restart my office computer to make the black screen go away.really wish they would fix this as it really was my favorite app and had recommended it to many people

  Never write reviews but decided to do this one using the product .I am typing this on my mac in another country using my iPad will thousands of miles away...the delay between command and actual response is minimal and very responsive . It works ..I travel quite a bit and can log in and actually do things on my computers in different countries seamlessly ..... Wish I could also instal on my Mac to use from kg Mac as well.....but as is it works fine no a Pc And any iOS device Amazing

  It's nearly perfect. Just add the ability to change screen resolution. And speed it up. As is it's bit slow. Logmein, Remotix, and Splashtop have solved the speed issue so I know it's possible. Basically add more quality settings. Definitely top 3 Remote Desktop though. Add those two things and Jump desktop easily takes the number 1 spot.

  I have run into a number of bugs including the keyboard not responding and the screen going black but a reconnect seems to fix it My biggest issue with it is that it uses a ridiculous amount of bandwidth at least on a mac. In a very short amount of time I had already sent over 2 gb of data to and from the mac I was connected to. I'm not sure my the ipad needs to send that much info since it's basically mouse clicks. Over an internet connection that much data make it very slow to respond to motions. The price of this app makes doesn't justify the performance in my opinion. I would look elsewhere.

  I use this app all the time to administer Windows servers or access my desktop remotely. The iPhone screen is a little small to do too much (not Jump's fault!) but I've considered getting an iPad, installing Jump, and leaving my laptop at home.

  Followed the set up instructions on both my iMac and iPhone. But it keeps trying to connect and gets no where. Both on wifi and cellular. Not working as advertised, I had a better experience with Teamviewer as far as ease of set up goes. I wish I can get my money back.

  Very easy to set up. Overall way cheaper than subscription services. Lots of features overall. WORKS AWESOME WITH BLUETOOTH KEYBOARDS! Many other apps have sub-par bluetooth keyboard support but with the macros built in, it turns my iPad into a full Window's PC! Very good app!!!

  I really like Jump and have been greatly pleased with the ease to connect to my computers at home - even over a cellular connection. I like that I can install an app on my PC, link to my Google account, and access the PC from anywhere. The keyboard mapping of control characters (shift, alt, ctrl, win, etc) is better than Microsoft's RDP app - even through a Bluetooth keyboard. Also, the multiple methods of mapping the mouse/touch into a Windows desktop is very nice. This program could use some improvement on establishing a connection, which is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. Many times when I select a computer it starts to connect and then returns back to the computer selection screen. At other times, it asks me for the password and then returns to the computer selection screen. I wish I didn't have to select the computer 3-4 times before it finally does connect and present the remote computer. All-in-all - this is my go-to remote desktop app for iOS!

  I have used this app for over two years. This app has saved me so many times. I use the native iOS VPN and this app on my iPhone 5 and iPad 2 to log on to my various work machines and servers. The devs of this app keep up with the iOS version updates. I would recommend using a wireless connection on your i device unless you don't care about your data usage or are just going to be on for a little while. I wouldn't call this app fun. I would call it essential.

  I would give this app six stars, if I could. It is better than even Microsoft's own iOS client. I've wasted my money on most of the other iPad RDP clients in the app store over the years: Save your money and just get Jump - it is hands down the best. The highlights: * Best Bluetooth keyboard support. Some clients say they support BT keyboards, but have strange omissions (like not supporting the arrow keys or escape keys). In Jump, every key works the way you would expect (the Command key even emulates the Windows key to bring up the start screen in Windows 8). * Which leads me to my second point: Full multi-touch support for Windows 8/2012. With Jump and a remotely controlled Windows 8 computer (or Windows 2012 Terminal Server), you essentially have a full Windows 8 tablet experience on your iPad. All the gestures work - swipe from the right edge for Charms. Swipe from the left for Task Switcher. Pinch to zoom. The Windows touch keyboard. It all works. You now have the best of both worlds, with very few compromises: A Windows 8 tablet, and an iPad. * I would be remiss if I didn't mention Jump's stability. Most of the other RDP clients I used would mysteriously crash and drop me back to the iPad icon screen. I have logged many, many hours on Jump, and it never crashes (it is my primary interface to work when I am out of the office). If you have a bluetooth keyboard and a decent terminal server, an iPad with Jump can easily serve as a laptop replacements. Indeed, this setup has been my travel combination for years: My actual work laptop rarely leaves the office.

  Have used Jump when working on the road - carrying an iPad on the road sure beats my clunky laptop. Easy setup and flawless connection and use. Using Jump with my iPad and wireless iPad keyboard has been a great combination. Very nice app.

  Used other apps that do VNC or RDP separately but this one works very well and combines both. I like the numeric keypad option. I also like the way the mouse simulates the iPad by jumping right to where you touch vs making you locate the cursor and drag it. Keep up the good work.

  I give the app 3 stars because It has a few shortcoming. I would be then happy to bump it up to 5 if I was able to copy from mac to mac and share sound on mac to mac. Either I don't know how to do it or it is not a feature but it really should be. Kinda surprised. I plan to email support and see if they can help.

  Really seems to be the best RDP client that I've used so far and I've used about 20 different apps trying to find the one I would settle upon. I'm still on the fence if Jump is the final do all, end all, be all RDP app for me. I also really like RoyalTS having used their desktop product for several years which is has great support and has far better prices. I really like Jump but it's missing key features especially considering the premium price (which is a little too "premium" if you ask me). * Needs cloud sync or cloud backup/restore option to keep the connections on all of my IOS devices in sync without requiring me to email a config file everytime I make a change. * Jump needs to include an option to include passwords when exporting a config file. * Needs to include the password when duplicating connections. As I said, I'm still on the fence on what RDP app I'll ultimately use for good. I think RoyalTS has better features but I don't like that it uses other RDP clients to connect while Jump has the best RDP client but not as many features. Only time will tell which one ends up being the best...

  Update: I LOVE this app!!!!!! Original review: I am blown away by this update and how it now automatically adjusts to any large tv in meeting rooms. It was heartbreaking before with the way it forced you to see a trackpad on the device, but now it's perfect! Device screen is the same, I digital pinch and zoom usually. But more importantly, mirroring to Apple TV is now beautiful!!! Thank you, Josh
