  • I think that this is a great app.

    by stuskier

Wow, Cliff Mass on my iPhone for FREE! I've long visited his blog on my home computer, and now I can see the same exact info on my iPhone. It does exactly what I expect it to. The colored icons at the bottom are a clever way to access previous month's blogs - although it is puzzling why the cyan-colored icons for the next two future months are included, when nothing has been written for them yet. Unless some new-fangled long-range models are about to be introduced :)

  • Good app

Este é um ótimo app para entrar no 'Cliff mass weather blog' sem o Safari.

  • No better weather writer for Pugetropolis

    by Too Much Sun

The page pops open the moment the App is launched. Photos load quickly and can be enlarged for viewing the details. Just remember to rotate back to verticle to access the "back" button to resume reading the text. The maps are clear if you zoom in. A 'must have' for weather geeks!!

  • Love Cliff's blog, not impressed w/ this app

    by Tango67

There are so many things wrong w/ this app, really I'm not sure why the developers even bothered. They could've created an iPhone friendly version of their website simply by migrating to Wordpress & using their iPhone mobile viewer. Sigh. Wish more iPhone app developers would look to the AMAZING examples of good apps (Loseit!, iBird, tweetie, etc.) rather than just create something poor for the sake of creating it at all. I'm SUCH a fan of Cliff Mass though that I'll hang on to see if this app improves over time; for now I'm still accessing the blog via Safari more often than not. Since it's a FREE app, I'd say most people will be content to do the same.

  • Great blog, poor app

    by Arwcw

5 stars for the blog, 1 star for the app. The text is not reformatted for the iPhone/iPod Touch, you just get the original web page and have to fight with zooming in and out to read the page. When you tap the top of the page to scroll up, you are instead trapped in a new web page selling other apps. The icons at the bottom are somewhat useful in taking to back issues without having to scroll all the way down to the links on the page. Read the blog, it is a great blend of information, education, opinion, and occasional diatribe. Skip the app.
