  • Ok but not the greatest

    by BiggPunnisha

The satellite view is good. But the latest pictures are from November of last year and there is no current updated news concerning Japan. The latest news is from March 11th.

Awesome app! Not only does it show the current location of an earthquake, it also shows all the earthquakes in that general area.

  • Looked good at first, but....

    by evilpeekey

This seemed to be a nice app, lots of data stuffed together for easy use. WRONG! After I downloaded the app I couldn't get it to stay open on my iphone. Not happy, folks.

  • This app is garbage

    by Jimmy_the_Saint

Bought and deleted in less than 5 minutes. Its unusable with the giant stupid icons that obscure everything. No push alerts, no way to filter. For example, I want the phone to alert me to anything over 5.5. No dice with this app. Would like the size of the icons to represent the size of the quake. With this awful app a 1.0 has the same giant clownish icon as a 10.0. Dumb. Also, you can't center the US. Map stops at edge and it's enraging to anyone with even the most mild case of OCD. Worthless.

  • Wait

    by OscOz

This app quit working after ios5 update. Wait till they fix it. Prior to that it worked perfectly.

  • Shoulda read the reviews

    by spunkedmonkey

Should paid attention to the people who actually took the time to write a review. Info says it pulls in EMSC and geonet. However all i ever see is USGS. there are other apps in the store that provide way more info than this one does.

  • False advertising

    by love_baseball

Bought the app based on seeing the reviews. They must be planted reviews because I didn't find it even close to how they describe it in their description. They only support USGS (not EMSC and GeoNet as noted above). There were a lot of missing earthquakes even with just USGS when compared to the USGS website. Although in the settings it says "last year" it really only shows the last 7 days and only earthquakes greater than 2.5 from USGS. It's not very comprehensive in my opinion!

  • Not worth the money

    by Nikhammer

This app isn't worth it if it was free. Doesn't provide timely notifications of quakes and the last picture updates were in Nov of 2010.

  • Not comrehensive

    by Pattie PP

Only tracks up to a year. Was expecting more....
