Though this app provides very good functionality but it Doesn't work properly.
I Own multiple apple wi-fi products, this is way easier to set up and manage. This is beautiful simplification.....
This is wonderful app. it is very easy to use and set up. Love this app. used for both iphone and iPad.
First off, this is a wonderful app. It would just be nice if I could make (small) changes to the network without having to shut the whole thing down. Like turning the guest network on and off, I would love to be able to do that without interrupting my main network. And easier setup of double NAT situations.
This is one of the few routers that I own that always works just fine.
It would be cool if you could also see Internet devices even just to get the Mac address. Other than that I really like the app I can go to my friends house and check their airport also
All Good with Apple Radio
After I enter my password for the air port express; why do I have to exit, and re-enter the router to see the wireless clients?
Worked on my iPhone 4S without any problems and allowed me to easily tweak my settings.
So I'm connected and all that and it seems to work fine most times. But sometimes on my iPhone 4S, there are times when the internet will just stop working. It will look like I am still connected and everything, but webpages never load or anytime I want to look something up with my wifi connection (using a time capsule), sometimes it just doesn't work and I have to turn wifi off and then back on again. It's a hassle and sometimes I just restart my phone and then it works. But still, this isn't normal! I'm not sure if it's my phone, the time capsule, or my modem, but something just isn't right. Good app, but this needs to be fixed!
Works perfectly, and yes it works in nothing portrait and landscape.
I love this
Just received my airport and it was so very easy to set up. Big difference in down load speed, this is a must have. Works great with all my home net work equipment. Had iPhone, iPad, PC and steaming video on the TV all at the same text with no problems at all. Great range through out a three story house. Great job as also Apple.
I should have bought this sooner.
I own multiple apple wi-fi products, this is way easier to set up and manage than Netgear (which is - for me - better than the other network equipment manufacturers). this is beautiful simplification of otherwise painful setups.
Functionality about the same as the earlier version with less contrast. Side by side the earlier version is easier to read. Am I the only on who doesn't understand the reasoning behind the design changes in iOS 7? It seems to me that contrast, depth, and clarity should be top level design considerations for a small mobile device. I think the recent design changes to iOS 7 were a big step back! I just don't get it!
I have always enjoyed this app, but the latest update with iOS 7 graphics and 64-bit support on the 5s makes it better than my Mac for managing my network. Thanks for the awesome update!
I love this new design, and now I wish all the apps were this sexy. This works better than ever thanks to the "stay connected" option.
This app does not. It will not discover AirPort Express Base Station.
I have yet to have it work. It shows I am on the internet but won't pick up my router.
Just found it useless since i cant do nothing after my first set up. And now ,after the new update it stops finding my device but i am connected to it. Sad
Where's the option to join not extend? Honestly Apple is making the airport so consumer friendly, leaving out so many BASIC options. Even on the desktop client. When I go ac, it won't be three airport extremes. Even the old app now no longer works on mavericks and the iOS version is well bad
This is just silly. No way to view logs or troubleshoot wireless issues. Basically no real functionality.
Apple's App won't detect Apple's AirPort Extreme!
Airport Utility Can't find my airport express but airplay (music, yourube, etc.) can.
I've really converted to Apple over the past few years. I like their software, but honestly, some of the hardware has been a huge headache. I purchased a time capsule with high expectations, ran the airport utility & nothing. Apple said to call my ISP, they said to call Apple as I am getting a connection. No internet with this as of yet, plugged in the old linksys instead. Will change review if Apple releases a fix. It doesn't 'just work'.
This app is basically useless if it cannot even detect my Airport Extreme base station from three feet away.
Until Maverick, I could use either Airport Utility, or 5.6 Airport Utility. I use 5.6 because I have some legacy Airport Extremes, and Airport Expresses that I will not do away with when they still work. With the latest Airport Utility, I can not admin older Apple routers, nor can I use 5.6 which could admin all the routers. So what is one to do, or am I missing something?
This app needs more options such as viewing devices attached to airport.....disks, speakers, printers.
My iPad so as iPhone showing as connected to my wireless network (airport extreme station), but app on ether device can't find router. I had no problems before with it until today.
Intermittent wifi, help. It's the same issue I had a few months ago with another update. Running up my data already have an alert for overage and I'm at home.
So will there be support for remote base stations in the next update? It would be so cool to be able to manage your network, over the Internet, or clients base stations of which one has signed in with ones apple ID. The mac version has it? Why not the iOS version. ?
so memory addressing wow
Don't know if anyone else is having this problem with their Apple TV but I seem to not be able to swipe to scroll or navigate, just click. Had to dig out my remote. I hope this gets fixed soon.
Good as always.
App no longer supports landscape orientation display on IPAD!! Why not??
I am disappointed in this app. I have an all apple network and can't believe how user-unfriendly it is. The credentialing process to view information for each router is cumbersome, and the data views for each require annoying moving back and forth between menus. Total bummer - Apple, I really expect better.
I have been using this for a while to keep track of my home network which consists of a cable modem and airport time capsule first generation, and an airport extreme third-generation. The network setup works great and covers the whole house is I use the extreme to extend my network. My problem is that this new version of this application doesn't allow me to see what items are connected to each of the routers. The older version allows you to click on each router and see what was connected to it. Unless I am mistaken this feature is now missing. Apple please bring back the ability to see what is connected to each of my routers. If you do that I will rewrite this and give you five stars.
I appreciate that this app allows me to keep tabs on my network and on my Airport, but it needs to be as fully featured as its OS X counterpart in order to be a truly desirable utility app for AirPort Extreme. The biggest issue I had was upon installation of my new AirPort Extreme with this app: I was not given the option to bypass credentials for PPPoE. Considering my connection doesn't require manual entry of them for use with this router, I should've been able to bypass this step upon installation with this app--not so. Instead, I had no choice but to use the OS X version of this app on my notebook to start and finish installation. This turned out to be a bummer as the mobile experience of installation and initial usage was completely diminished with this particular hurdle. This AirPort Utility app needs to be on par with its OS X counterpart with regards to features and allow for a much easier installation experience.
I love changing things on wifi routers troll for life yeah!!!!
Its best app i love it
Perfection like everything apple!
Hello I'm regf
It's not working period. Enuff said
The app is great on my Mac. It is worthless on the iPhone. No ability for drag and drop file storage. This app is just an overview monitoring app. Don't waste your time.
This version could not see airports that are not already configured by my airport utility on snow leopard. (The current 6.3.1 lion version is equally useless). How would I have configured my new airport express without my snow leopard machine? Come on Apple
Couldn't find an airport to save its life
The software works good. I wish it was more polished and offered more options though.
Thanks for the airport express!
