Customer Reviews

  • Love it!!!! Go Pro!

    by AdrenlynJunky

Love this app - wouldn't travel without it. Keeps me on schedule especially for those crazy weekends when friends love to schedule a bazillion things!!!!

  • BEWARE: Helpful, but not always accurate

    by RandBrad

One of Tripit's key functions is to keep you updated on schedule changes. It pulls information from various sources. Yesterday, it alerted me to a 1:15 delay in my flight. Unfortunately, this information was totally wrong, causing me to miss my flight and get stuck in Dallas overnight. I won't stop using the app, but I certainly won't rely on the information it supplies!

  • Like magic!

    by Roys21

Very few products, let alone apps, have solved one of my problems as elegantly as TripIt has. If you travel, even infrequently, this product will make your life easier. Highly recommended.

  • Excellent!!

    by kkaog

This is the best travel/planning/itinerary/agenda app I have ever used. One of the absolute best, useful apps I've ever used. Integrates with calendar easily, user friendly, has a place for ALL of your information, info is easily shared. Can't say enough good stuff about this app. Only problem I had was after modifying some plans, I couldn't resend it to myself for printing. Excellent app!

  • Love it.

    by ChickCNC

Like the app so much I bought the stock!

  • Review

    by ShawnTooley

Switched from other popular app. Like the it integrates with LinkedIn. Importing trips is a breeze! Use it to manage all travel--been an very valuable tool.

  • Amazing

    by geromehe

This app is making my trip to Europe so easy. Between flights, car rentals, hotels and excursions, everything is in there!

  • Big fan since 2009

    by Nan Palmero

I've used Tripit since 2009 and absolutely love it. The calendar integration reminds me where I need to be and the notifications from Pro help me skip the monitors so I can go directly to my connecting gate. I'm a huge fan and you will be, too.

  • Use this all the time

    by Edlawlarry

I use this app all the time. I travel a lot so it's nice having all my information in one place. I send everything myself rather than have it monitor emails. I've never had any problems. Though some hotel confirmations it can't figure out. A great app.

  • Great app!

    by Grits2014

Get it, you'll love it. All trip info on one place!!!

  • Good app

    by dak970

    Not bad

  • Great app

Have used this for close to a year and I love it!

  • Great App

    by Frost6935@charter net.

I just got this app and at first I had problems entering the information but as I kept at it I found it easier to work with. It covers everything you just might to keep track of. I'm happy with it.. J. S.

  • Good, but a few things could be better

    by Jacqui3932

IT takes quite some time to search my inbox for flights and such. If I put them in a mail folder, they are not located, so they have to sit in my inbox for a day. I would love real time plane status (where is it, not just is it delayed)

  • Love the app!

    by Joseph Rosamond

Im still on IOS 6 on my ipad. I used it to plan and execute a trip with my family across the country. I loved being able to instantly share changes with them and coordinate events. The point tracking system is awesome, I didn't even know I had expiring points until I entered in my info! Keep it up!

  • Love it!

    by Orangplace

I've been using this app for three years on my Blackberry and now on my 4S. So simple to use and so great to have all of my trip info in one location without entering any data.

  • FANTASTIC

    by 1Wheeler2

Wonderful tool!!!! It collects itinerary info for any travel info that comes to the email account, including friends and family. No more searching emails for arrival times and flight numbers when picking up at the airport. Very slick!!!!!

  • Love it!

    by TchrJo

I travel a lot in small groups that I organize. Typically we have groups from 4 to 20 people. Tripit is a great way to have all travel info in one spot while we travel and don't have to worry about each of us carrying a bidet full of information. I connect those who I have in the group with tripit and their info is all in one place. I've used tripit for over a year and it has worked flawlessly. I just wish that there were an easier way to find friends from my contacts who use the service already. I wish Pro wasn't so expensive. I would pay $20, but $50 is outrageous!

  • Handy little app

    by PRJAlaska

It can't automatically read my email for some reason but actually I prefer to be in charge of what it knows about me. Otherwise it is quite a handy little app, it lines up my flights and hotel reservations chronologically. Haven 't tested it with car rentals yet. It's very useful not to have to go digging in folders or my past email or scan through my calendar app or open an airline app, then a hotel app, then stitch it all together on my head when someone asks exactly what day I will be where and in which hotel 6 months down the road.

  • Often late or wrong information

    by RancherRider

It does well for an overview but is unreliable when there is a change in flight status. When I try to get gate info sometimes it just jumps to the first leg of the flight. I know the updates are available because I get them in email and in Tripcase. This app is more irritating than useful.

  • Worst

    by Pkboston

Horrible app, tons of crashes. Tons of bugs

  • Terrible app

    by Kisrani

Bad app, instead of pulling all my travel-info from the Tripit website, asks me to enter it again. Waste of time

  • Departure gate??

    by B34L26

Dear tripit - what gate am I departing from?? What relevant info do you have of you don't have that. Pathetic.

  • DONT TRUST THIS APP!!!

    by 157man

Piece of crap. Frequently has conflicting or bad information; saved a trip departing in 2056! I missed my flight because it captured the wrong travel info from my emails. DONT TRUST THIS APP!! You'll get the wrong flight information!

  • Freezes all the time

    by Freda Lee

The screen freezes when trying to open any trips. Don't update!!!

  • Terrible

    by D1G1T0L

They want $49/yr to upgrade. Not sure if it's worthwhile after, but it's useless before.

  • Network section useless.

    by Speedfilm

I just want to see a simple list of people in my network so I can click through to see their trip details. What is so hard about that?

  • Inaccurate & buggy

    by thechapwithoutatakenname

Remains buggy (eg. cannot text flight status)! JetBlue indicates a delay but Tripit still shows flight on time and smelling of roses. Blissful ignorance.

  • Does not work!

    by OkSuJorji

If I could give this app 0 stars would. It did not sync with m email address. When I tried the tech support fix it still didn't work. Useless app.

  • Arrival times are glitchy!

    by benjitppn

The arrival time in the app was an hour off from the actual arrival time!! And just for the pro version?

  • Confusing

    by ItsDanno

The new user interface is very confusing. I’ve been using it for a while and I still can’t figure out how to switch between trips versus switching between events within the same trip.

  • BAD

    by Kona puppy

A far cry from the regular site. Waste of time. I'm deleting it now!

  • Skip this app

    by Raineyville101

Keep looking. Very frustrating. Useless!! Difficult to figure out & use.

  • Was amazing but not now

    by Fiametta2014

I had been using tripit for several years - I absolutely loved it and relied on it for all of my travel reservations. However, I had to change my email due to relocation and since then - I cannot get this app to work! I can get it to accept a reservation and it will not send me an email to verify my address when I tried to change it! I worked with Apple on this for over an hour and together we couldn't get it working. I have lost my best and favorite app. Also there is no phone number tocontact the company. Please fix these problems!

  • Needs to fix violated UI Principles

    by TavernMage

It could be a great one touch App to see your itinerary. There is enough space to show every trip and very detail on the first page. Instead, you have to navigate through not one but two different screens to see the airline you have booked and other details. As I stumble around touching all their links trying to find flight details, I regret using their App often. Consider applying Tufte's principle of higher "data ink to non-data-ink" displays. Even applying a simple click-count will help the UI team do a better job.

  • Good idea, doesn't work

    by DA&C

This is a great idea. Too bad that it can't make sense of any hotel confirmations, or anything else other than flight tickets. It's entirely useless. For flights only, you can use any flight tracker program a lot more easily.

  • Sssllloooowwwww App

    by Osakasky

Great premise, great connectivity to my work platforms... pathetically slow load times. Slow enough to question whether or not it's hung. Not a good effort.

  • No way to start navigation from trip it

    by Try all

From trip it on ipad, you can only link to get direction, but not navigation

  • Minchia

    by Flyovini

    Buggy and frustrating.

  • Bugs remain

    by Don Shuwarger

Many bugs remain, even in this latest version. Multiple bug reports are quickly answered with polite acknowledgement, but the bugs remain. Can't add more than one attendee to a dinner; sentences begin in lower case; refreshes take way too long; flight status is non-descriptive, etc. This mobile app lacks many features and homology with the website. I sure wish Concur would improve the mobile app since it is what I rely on when traveling and away from the desktop application.

  • Fix ios7 version

    by tangent24

TripIt Pro was great. Ios7 App is terrible. Slow data refresh. Worse still, as a Pro user I'm only seeing "scheduled" under flight status (not "on time" or "delayed"). No alert emails either despite activating all the settings. User interface is still slow even after recent fixes. No need for bad momentum scrolling. Please fix ASAP.

  • Good for travelers

    by CustomerX

Good app if you travel much. It is nice to have all itineraries in one place. Latest SW changes slowed down app on iphone4, but still worth having.

  • App Does Not Update

    by J Space 23

Almost got stranded in the Dominican Republic when the app failed to auto update or email flight changes. Good app for storing basic information. Just make sure you give the travel companies your direct travel email address so you can stay abreast of changes.

  • Needs tweaking

    by Bbbhhhll23448

I would like for this app to be able to automatically separate trips in which the passengers are different people. For instance, my sister emails me her itinerary and TripIt thinks it's me. Meanwhile, I am actually traveling at the same time so TripIt acts like I'm in Brazil and traveling to Florida simultaneously. It knows who the passengers are so should be able to separate those trips automatically.

  • Awesome app. Very helpful.

    by RaviMandala

It really motivates me to stay organised and plan my trip to the minutest detail. My trip plan looks so awesome on this app and it's website. Loving them both.

  • Disappointed in TripIts Decision to Block Interfaces to Other Apps

    by hackerz33

Tripit was a great App to use in conjunction with other 3rd party apps like Flight Track. Tripit allowed me to have my iterneraries loaded and their portal allowed 3rd party apps like Flight Track to automatically obtain my flight info. Tripit recently decided to restrict/block access to their interface my Tripit data is no longer accessable by Flight Track. This diminishes the utility and usefullness of having Tripit at All. In fact, I started with Flight Track first and only got Tripit when I saw the feature in Flight Tracks settings screen.

  • No airline participation

    by ogmare

The itinerary came through wit car and hotel, but without the airline - kinda a big gap.

  • Great app

    by Deer wizard

    Love it....

  • Best Travel App

    by Mcg177

Best app for travel! No more confirmation papers!! Just enter everything it's all right there on your smartphone. You can share your trips with your boss or friends and family. Its great!

  • Super annoying

    by malarky222

They hound your email inbox. They constantly ask you to upgrade to a ridiculously expensive pro version. I apparently have three notifications but I can't find them and I'm a decently tech-savvy guy. I guess I just don't see the appeal. I'm out!

  • A Must Have!

    by iLiveToTravel

Tripit has been essential in organizing trips I take & plan for myself & friends. I highly recommend the app & website. They work seamlessly together.

  • Great

    by Jt16379

Can't believe how easy and helpful this app is. I have been using this for years and it has made traveling so much easier and more organized. Especially trips with multiple flights, destinations and hotel stays.

  • Great app!

    by Pmiller555

Makes it really easy to keep your travel plans organized and easy to get to. Stores flight information, rental car reservations, and hotel reservations. All just by forwarding emails. So easy!

  • One of my essential apps

    by JCOK730

If you travel, TripIt is an neat tool to keep track of everything related to your trips. And you can share your itinerary with others very easily.

  • Love it!

    by Bubblestars237

About the only thing that keeps my travel properly organized.

  • CEO

    by JORNIK

Love this TRIPit. Also, this is the 2nd app I have rated in 3 yrs

  • Was a five star!

    by Gubyvtxutdtu

App worked great for a year then one day got stupid. Red circle shows up in the upper right hand corner of the app icon with a number in it like I have a new message. Tried everything to get rid of it but nothing works! Go to TRIPCASE!

  • Little buggy

    by Anathemys

I've used the service for a while and just started using the app and I am not impressed. Slow and somewhat clunky. And, I got a push notification and it won't go away. Very irritating.

  • Good for travelling

    by MxMasterCR

It's a great app that automatically update all the info for my trips.

  • Awesome!

    by Angel 2 be mine

If you travel a lot, this app is a must!

  • Over 100 flawless trips with Tripit

    by Zzxx9998

I have been with Tripit since it launched. Prior to that I had dozens of mamilla folders with printed confirmations in them. The pro feature is priceless since it gives me gate updates, baggage carousels, and alternate flights when mine are cancelled. When trying to find a hotel, particularly in Europe, the maps are great. Best if all is that you never need to know country codes...just push to talk to hotels, car rental agencies. I would pay a lot more for this app.

  • Indispensable tool for all in one travel!

    by HaliLien

    Can't live without it!

  • Still Too Slow

    by Sid B

What I used to love about this app was how fast it pull data down from servers. Over the last few versions it has become too GUII, too many bells and whistles, and less power to pull down data quickly. There was a time when you received alerts minutes before they would be announced in an airport. Those days seem to be gone the app has become bogged down and slow.

  • Tripit pro app is excellent

    by Peter41239

Had a recent problem with a trip and many segments. It failed to record the last segment flights. Hard to find the email support address to report problems. It is not part of the iPhone app. Very useful app otherwise.
