  • Great for Class

    by Maeface

I am an environmental science major and this app was great for our multitude of research trips and field studies. Mammals, reptiles and all the different vegetation information was easy to access and understand. Great purchase!

    Very good app

  • Great for my 5th grade Science class

    by Alexander Hayes

My students and I love this program as you can pretty easily identify birds, trees, insects, etc. right outside our classroom window. We are experimenting with iPads on a cart and find we are frequently returning to this app to help us out. Kids enjoy creating an aviary of sounds. They will have their own journals that they will hopefully keep for life.

  • Love it!

I always loved these books, and they did a good job translating the same experience to this app. Highly recommended!

  • Having fun with it!

    by GFGardener

Having this app has greatly improved my experience of bird and wildlife watching on a farm near a forest in Virginia. I'm having so much fun that it has inspired me to buy bird houses and binoculars, and to put plants and features around the yard to attract birds and wildlife. The descriptions, images, and search features are helpful and informative. I do think there is some room for improvement in terms of some of the bugs in and flow of the program, but I see it being a valuable app to me for a long time to come!

  • Wonderful app

    by Todd524

The bird and reptile sections alone make this a very worthwhile purchase. Fantastic pictures and the bird calls are so helpful. If you enjoy being outdoors in the eastern states, you will love it.

  • Awesome app!

    by pmccpa

Have several of their apps and they are all great. Customer service is very responsive!!!

  • Cost

    by App cost

App is shown as being on sale for $5.99 but the bill arrives at the regular cost of $9.99 I hope this is just oversite or error Beware

  • Incomplete field guide

    by Original old grumpy

This guide does not contain all common Critters making it a somewhat worthless guide. How does one get his money back. After all, this is not a cheap app and I will not install any more Audubon Guides

  • Save your money

    by Htown H

Very poor ap. pictures are way too small and often not well edited. Identifying a tree from this is difficult as there is no way to do it by leaf shape. For this price it should use an image to map to a selection of plants. Really, do not buy this,
