It takes more than a recipe to make a great beer. Just using the right ingredients doesn't mean your beer will taste like it was meant to.
Most of the time it's the way a beer is made and served that makes it either an exceptional beer or one that gets dumped into the nearest flower pot.

I used a couple and like the diversity. Needs a table of contents and maybe a search option!
At least organize the recipes by type and name the chapters
I've brewed a couple from here and they turned out pretty good. I also use this to help build a recipe. A search would be a huge help but they are in alphabedical order so it's not that hard to figure out where a certain recipe is located. Well worth the dollar paid.
Not sure why all the ratings are so low. I gave 5 stars for the recipes and minus one for no search/index. I could brew a batch a week for a year and not be done. For 99 cents, thats a pretty good deal. For single recipes I will just copy and paste a single entry in the notepad.
I should have read the reviews. Not indexed or even titled, basically useless as a tool.
This app ( if it can be called an app) seems like it is nothing more than a bunch of recipes that were ripped off from somewhere else. If you want to really be able to use them copy the text of each chapter then upload it to a cloud service (your choice). It will take a while because there's eighteen chapters. Apple really needs to assert some sort of quality Control over the Apps sold throught their App Store. This really has turned me away from Appwarrior. I will never purchase any of their products again. The receipes seem to be in some sort of aplhabethical order and this is defintely a rip off of material from various sources. (copyright violations?) It is a bunch of recipes stolen from beerrecipes.org
18 chapters of recipes, and no way of knowing what recipe is is what chapter. I only spent about 5 minutes going through various chapters. It looks like a great start, but unless I can find a particular recipe that I want, it's not useful to me.
Not worth it.
I ended up copy and pasting the whole thing to a word doc to search it. 641 recipes, 222 all grain, 389 extract. Some have great instructions. Others have none other than a mash temp(ie Belgian dubbel inst. has no hop boil times, or any procedure other than "soft water recommended with a mash temp of 150-152f). But for a $1 I can overlook most of this.
For a buck it's ok I guess. I wish I had read the other reviews first. Lack of search a big problem. I probably would not buy if I read reviews.
Great, loads of recipes. Bad, you have to go through 18 chapters to decide which one to brew. It's just a list. Usually $16.99 ?? The book ! That has the index etc. Dissapointing. Hopefully an update soon or it's a waste of a buck !
Awesome idea to have so many recipes but man, have a way to filter or search!
Some could be good and some could be bad. An index or a search function would be helpful. Lots of recipes but no quick reference ratings. Otherwise there is a great list of beer recipes.
Awesome resource if there was a way to know what was where. There is no way to search, filter, or even know what is in each of 18 chapters of recipes. Add a table of contents and you'll get 5 stars.
