Files² lets you view the following types of files:

  • Major iOS 7 Security Problem

    by JSBach-wanabee

When viewing list of Recent apps, while suspended, the last page viewed is plainly visible. Before suspending, need to bring up unlock screen if lock option has been selected. That way the lock screen would show up in the list of Recent apps rather than the page being viewed. Also, when returning from a suspend the navigation bar is now black instead of translucent. Would give 5 stars if you fixed these things.

  • Useful in a crisis

    by Dee da babe

This one of the most useful apps especially when you have a document in your computer and no wi fi. I simply put the document in the files app in iTunes, sync my iPhone and the file is in my phone. Then I can email it right from my phone. This app has saved me plenty of times.

  • Good app

    by Avioneto

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It allows me to store any kind of file I want LOCALLY on my iPhone, and be able to email it at any time.

  • A handy app.

    by indeepwinter

Works great for me on the newest generation of iPod touch devices. Seamless loading, transitions and general usage. It would be nice if they could update some of the graphics to work better with the Retina display, e.g., the selection list for cloud storage, file locations like Google Docs and the actual app icon itself. Apart from that, works great.

  • Loved it until the latest update

    by callen0330

The latest update says it "allows you to sort files by date", however there are some files I don't want sorted by date. They are numbered and I need the numbers in sequence. Now they're not in number order. How do you un-sort them?! I just want them listed by number! I also have some documents within alphabetical files that are now jumbled. Groan. Let me go back to the previous version!

  • Great program before newest update

    by kstotzer

Need to fix the crashing every time you you open a document.

  • Great app

    by Pearl/light

This is a wonderful app. The best google docs viewer I found. Though since the last OS update mine has been crashes every time I use it. Can we get a fix for this soon.

  • Very good

    Very good

  • Love it!

    by Flabosoaurous

There are so many file types you can view! It has never crashed even when moving large files! There are many sources from which you can retrieve files too. Very cool, although it would be nice to be able to edit some file types... imply imply. *cough^update^cough*

    by Bbhoff

Syncs well with google docs. Needs to be able to change the font. Everything is set in bold Times New Roman with really tight line spacing. Not ideal for reading. Kinda bummed that you can't get in and edit any docs as well. None of my PDFs are showing up either. Sigh +

  • Does what it needs to.

    by a girl named Forrest

Love this app. It does exactly what I needed to do.. be able to upload my files from my computer, view, and sort them. Email option is great also.

  • Love the ease

    by Flizflibbit

Great app for transfering files back and forth thru google docs. Simple and effective. Powerful for lots more I'm sure.

  • Great for E-mailing!!!!

    by Camping in the woods

My goal- I was looking for a way to get files and photos to my I phone from my laptop and then be able to e-mail them. I don't have Internet access on my laptop so I set up an Ad Hoc network between phone and laptop. So, I my work locally on the laptop then transfer the files to my I phone via the Files2 app, that I need to email. BTW, great drag and drop functionality. I would have given them five stars but I find I have sometimes go into the settigs tab to reset the file sharing on and off switch to get it to connect.

  • Impressive!

    by BillZoel

This file viewer has impressive capability. It displays complex Word documents well and has handled PDF perfectly so far. Other viewers do that, too. What sets this app apart is the integration with MobileMe and Google Docs. That means that I don't have to think ahead and make sure that I have transferred everything I need directly from my Mac to the iPhone. If I have the document up on the "cloud" in one way or another, I can get at it with the phone. That's huge.

  • Great app

    by Nino305

Works great easy to use with my mac. However I was trying to transfer 48 PDF files at one time and kept on getting an error. So I tried again with 1/2 the files at a time and worked fine. I love the fact you can email files now. I have been a bit puzzled why the iPhone would not let you do this without downloading an app. So far everything is great.

  • This app is completely useless

    by JAY-BEE-TWO

This app is completely useless if you do not have access to a wireless network. If you try to email a file using a cellular network it does not work. The clock just spins and spins. Its almost like that feature has been crippled for some reason. I can email a photo with my iPhone and it sends really fast. Why can't this app do the same thing? I question what the real point of this app is. The reason why I bought it was so I could send a file from my iPad and iPhone's cellular network for times when I do not have regular internet service. What is the point of this app if I can't do that?

  • Doesn't work.

    by Numman178

Will not send email with attached files. Pointless and worthless.

  • unable to change file names

by Good Vodka ... There is no substitute

using an iPhone 4 with 5.0.1 and the latest app version 4.0.3. After changing the file name, selecting done and be returned to the screen where you have the option to click "Save" to apply the name change, the "Save" button does nothing. There is no action on the screen no matter how many times you tap the "Save" button. The only option you have is to go back to the inbox where you are then presented with the files again with their original names. This makes saving files for later use, pretty much useless when they have cryptic or abbreviated names which prevent you from identifying them.

Unstable, not ready for prime time, why should we pay for a beta app. I think an app should have at least 4 stars to be worth buying. This is a rip off. This is a worthless piece of craaaapppp!!!!!

  • Not all that...mediocrity at best!

    by specimen38

Thought I could use this app to browse things on my iPhone and transfer the wireless to my Mac...NOT!

  • Not what you think!

    by Tyguy7

Doesn't let you get files off your iPhone, only add files to it. You can't get movies or pictures that you've taken for example.

  • PDF Support Lacking

    by JJunk

This app is exactly what I need but why in the world are none of my Google Doc PDFs showing up?! I have PDFs on my iDisk which show up just fine in this app and are even emailable... As a small business owner running on Google Apps, emailing PDFs from Google Docs is the sole reason I purchased this (with iDisk integration being a nice bonus). I really want to love this app and will rate it 5 stars in heartbeat if this issue is resolved. Is this is a bug that is being worked on? Otherwise very nice and simple interface.

  • Can't see any PDF on google docs

    by Machrunner

For those of you who can see your PDFs on Google docs - what's the trick? Is it due to the way I copied the PDFs to the google cloud ?

  • Does not recognize .pdf files in Google Docs

    by Rapmaster Q

.pdf files stored in google docs are not recognized.

  • Doesn't work with Google Docs

    by SeattleDude

My sole reason to buy this app is to view PDFs on my Google Docs site. But none of the PDFs show up. How can I get my money back?
