Customer Reviews

  • Promising but buggy

    by bsmartt

I can't get logged in successfully. The app crashes after I grant the necessary permissions.

  • Asana is great but their mobile app isn't

    by Pastapuck

    - won't stop sending me repeated push notifications with the same content. I.e. Someone comments on a ticket and it notifies me 30 times. - app is slow - limited functionality compared to web product - slow to launch, always updating

  • For the price, if cannot be beat

    by Stemado

I have no idea what anyone is upset with this app about. It does everything I want it to, literally. If you work in a day to day job where you have five tasks total, this isn't for you. But if you work in a field where you have to create categories of tasks and then be able to manage all of those tasks in a timely fashion, then this is the way to go. It's simple. It's clean. It has made my job 5x easier and more professional because I now have the ability to track every task and sub task that I have thrown at me in a single day. I never write reviews because, normally, I think of what I would like an app to do, find one, and it does just that. But never have I found an app that did what I expected it to, but then surprised me by doing more than I thought an app was capable of doing. Asana did just that. Thank you Asana. Your product's ability to keep me organized is helping to make me a more efficient person, but better a better one.

  • Dangling a carrot here

    by dzenna

I'll love it when this app grows up, also when there's an iPad version. C'mon, Asana, keep pushing good stuff out, am rooting for you.

  • Love It

    by Abarthalow

I love this app for helping to keep my team and I organized. The only thing I wish asana had was a way to notify you if a tasks check list has another list of sub-tasks. Other than that the app and the website works great.

  • I dig it ...

    by bitten hero

Came by way of another product, but I like the interface and it works well.

  • Great App, Great playform!

    by Colin Smith

If you have used the alternatives, you know how great this app is. Beats 5pm web and competitors by a mile.

  • Love Asana

    by Ibarr1

Easy to use. Keeps me organized. Love the daily email and iPhone reminders!

  • Not bad, but

    by N-girl

iPhone app is way, way behind web-client. And we need iPad app too

  • Love Asana

    by bethlikes

I love asana, I use it for work and personal. The app could be better but it will get there. ie, would love to use it offline. Does the job for now.

  • Love it!

    by Kittywalk

App provides unbeatable functions and great value for small teams. Wish there was a zipper version for the iPad Mini but so far the iPhone versions works great too! Thank you!

  • Collab and get things done

    by BeastModeSwagDominate

This is an awesome app to get with your team an get things done.

  • Crashes

    by *psuedonym*

    Frequently.

  • Thanks for a great app!

    by supwiddat

Exactly what I was looking for!

  • Yay!

    by robrowe

    Thank you Asana!!!

  • Asana is awesome

    by Chanimarcus

So easy to use. Helps keep my small business organized when we are all working from different locations. Thank you asana!

  • Great App for Asana

    by Van_Evan

Asana is a very handy way to manage yaks and projects. Having access to the task list via a mobile app makes it must better and easy to use!!

  • Good for reading your lists

    by The Wiry Welshman

I love the desktop version of Asana, however, the iphone app seems to be really only good for viewing your lists rather than actively adding to them (it can be used to do that, but it is a bit cumbersome due to the small screen). I am very excited to see how they handle the ipad app if they decide to make one.

  • Better but slow

    by Metophile

This app has improved a lot since the first version but it is still too slow and unpolished. It also has not been updated to reflect iOS 7. I hope they keep improving and work toward it functioning as fast as possible when launched. Until then I'm not likely to use the Asana mobile application frequently.

  • ASANA Is a great tool but mobile app crashes too much

    by Newsreaderrr

ASANA. Is a great project management tool and we are considering implementing it company wide. However the mobile app doesn't even let me open it as it crashes before I can actually see anything please fix as soon as possible

  • Ceashing on login - iPhone 5

    by mr. Sarski

Desktop version is great. Please fix it :D

  • App crashes on log in screen

    by CTopher1981

Installed, tried to log-in, and it crashes constantly. Deleted and re-installed and it's the same. Fail

  • Why?

    by Sk1215

Why can't I view old tasks?

  • Force closes

    by Thlfsvjolbrwafylmfsgydsj

Can't sign in without force closing. Please fix.

  • Crashes

    by Max Hudson

Crashes when you try to log into a gmail account

  • Still needs a lot of work

    by WithNoArt

The app just isn't ready for primetime. It is slow, and often can't connect to the asana server. There are stability issues across the app. The mobile version of the website isn't any better. I use it because I have to for work, but it is an unending frustration.

  • Needs to be more like the web app

    by No and Never

Yeah it just needs to have the features from the web app.

  • Fail

by Lousy intro to cloud computing

I was so excited to give this a try. I have a lot of group project that need to be done and I thought this might be a neat tool to help further our chance of success. I've had it open and been waiting for it to let me do something, anything for twenty minutes. :( I have awesome Internet connection where I am at now and it's still just stuck I am assuming trying to configure something, what, I don't know. I can't see anything. :( severely disappointed.

  • Desktop app is great, mobile needs a lot of work

    by tangent24

No archiving, poor notifications, no app settings, no today/upcoming/later toggle, no unified task list. Just a self-contained version of the web app. Look to any.do for best practices in UI and Hill88 for Asana feature set and please incorporate into future versions...

  • Slow buggy crashes constantly

    by blargovargus

Please build a true native app! People are paying to use asana I don't understand how the mobile app is half baked

  • Really?

    by Mr. Livingston

App that doesn't remember you password is hardly an app that improves productivity.

  • Online: Too Slow | Offline: No Go

    by RobbGorringe

It's what it basically comes down too. Check out others that are built for speed: Wunderlist, Trello, Evernote... Asana needs to step-up their game, (and we'll love it when you do).

  • Weak app, awesome service

    by amblatx1

Asana is an awesome service, but this app itself is terrible =( very much needs to be a native app!!

  • Crash Zone

    by prelude2cinema

My team loves this on the PC but the iPad app is pitiful. It constantly crashes. The team who created it needs to be fired. I am sorry to be harsh but it will make people drop Asana if the app doesn't work properly.

  • Crashes

    by sdc12322

Tired of this app crashing when I try to browse long lists. Crashes. Every. Single. Day.

  • Crashes after 3 seconds consistently.

    by christine breen

It is impossible to use as after 3 seconds the app locks up and crashes.

  • Get your crash helmet on

    by GodinPlayer

Strap in, we are going to crash. Asana will go a couple of days without issue, then another crash fest starts. Do you guys have any sort of formal testing, or is that what we are for? Your desktop site is great, but your mobile site is far from great.

  • Crashes all the time

    by Kopbruce

    Horrible quality

  • Constantly crashes

    by Tre Ol

This app constantly crashes which makes it useless.

  • Too slow for regular use

    by Njdhshs

I love Asana. Via the browser. This app needs some love. Id like to use it to enter tasks but it is not a quick process. The app takes too long to load. It also displays old completed tasks for some reason. I don't know how to remove these via the mobile app.

  • Crashes & Displays Same Page Over & Over

    by Ed Wisch

I love asana....on my pc. The app however, has some major bugs. I'm confident these issues are being worked on as I type and as soon as they are resolved- this review will be changed. Issues- - Crashes all the time- when I change from my tasks to inbox and vice versa. - When trying to go back to Inbox after opening a task to review, continues to display the same screen over and over again. As mentioned, Asana has become an integral part of our business, but the app needs an update ASAP.

  • Always crashes

    by ❤ 

Update: no improvement with 2.5.2 The performance issues are largely gone! Unfortunately, the app still crashes *every* time I use it.

  • Very slow, crashes constantly

    by Jeremy Michael

While Asana is a great application, it runs slow and the mobile app runs even slower. The constant crashes make this project / task management mobile app a complete zero. This has been going on for a long time now and my patience for mobile development to progress runs thin at this point. I am evaluating new solutions. Currently, Podio seems to be a promising solution: it's mobile app is great and while it's extensibility can be intimidating at first, it has the potential to replace several of our services. This most recent update shows no noticeable changes in performance.

  • Constant crashing

    by SouthernHomesFL

Loved the app. Just crashed four times in less than 10 minutes. If can stop crashes, would be five stars. Please help.

  • Crashes Every 30 Seconds

    by JohnAlfano

I used to like this app, but now it crashes every 30 seconds. Is it just me or did the company run out of money and stop fixing bugs?!

  • Excellent on the web, unusable on mobile

    by syalam

I'd like to point out that I am a heavy Asana user. My company loves the web app, its quick and it just works. The mobile app doesn't work offline, making it very difficult to work on the go. It is also very slow and unresponsive.

  • Asana is very useful and flexible, app is currently a bit buggy.

    by Kzqai

In iOS7 on iPhone 4s, the app unfortunately crashes regularly to the home screen while simply navigating through tasks with enough comments and attached images.

  • Must Have

    by Toddjtx

Dead simple to learn, use, and share. Great for teams and running a business.

  • Great for managing medium-sized groups

    by Nirgal_ii

I live the transparency and accountability. The ability to modify the flow via email is also quite powerful.

  • Fail on iPhone

    by RubyRubyRed

I use the web version of the app in Liquid on the Mac, but unfortunately all the work I put into creating projects on the go is for naught. The iPhone version of the app has never worked. It hangs while trying to update the app and doesn't let me see my data. I've deleted and redownloaded to no avail. Fail.
