Customer Reviews

  • Almost complete

    by MormonMacMan

I love AlienBlue! It's what got me actively using reddit and the app is perfect for browsing, commenting, and doing nearly everything else you could want to do. The ONLY thing that seems to be missing is the ability to link your Imgur account for uploading photos to Imgur and then posting the links to reddit. Other than the incomplete Imgur integration, AlienBlue is perfect. The $1.99 Pro upgrade is well worth it! The features it unlocks are great (gallery mode for browsing photos, ability to filter out phrases or subreddits, etc) Great job! I highly recommend it!

  • Full of features, works really well

    by Buzzert0

Enough said. This is the best reddit app for any platform hands down.

  • app seems broken

    by alato

I don't know what happened since yesterday but it locks up now

  • Best app I ever downloaded

    by Tmont625

Hands down the best app on my phone. Performance is amazing; the built on web reader is faster than anything else out there

  • Excellent app

    by Ehhh potential...

Works just as intended. I upgraded to pro for 1.99 to support the developer. I would like the ability to click on usernames in the future but for now it is a really great app.

  • Okay App

    by Treiga

I am a casual reddit user and this app is pretty decent. If there are problems they are fixed fairly quickly. It can be slow at times and somewhat quirky but it gets the job done. It is definitely worth it to pay for the "pro" version.

  • Extremely well designed.

    by fjtgyf

It has a tremendous amount of features without cluttering the user interface. It's simple and just really really good.

  • Great when it works

    by Chris144

Does what its supposed to when it works. However 9 times out of 10 pages and comments simply don't load. I wish I was exaggerating. It's been getting worse over the past few months for me. I checked my connection and it's fine. To fix this i'll try refreshing or backing out of the page but this often doesn't work either.

  • Reddit is mobile

    by metllicamilitia

Great Reddit client, of the Reddit clients I've tried, none come close to Alien Blue. Paid upgrade allows multiple accounts and other great features. Very customizable, I love it!

  • Good app, needs work

    by coolxkidx

Great app. But it loads so slow in front page grid mode.... Like it's unusable. Please fix that

  • Best reddit app hands down

    by pope224

Blows away the competition. No question.

  • Does what you want and does it well

    by Skif

If you're looking for a mobile Reddit client this app is for you. I've been using it for quite a while and was immediately impressed with the quality. It's perfect for a bit of reading before bed or when you're out of the house with a few minutes to kill. I've spent more time on this app than any other and that's just as much a testament to the quality of Alien Blue as it is to Reddit itself. And if you're enjoying the app, consider upgrading to the pro version to help support the dev.

  • Best Reddit App

    by TheMinions

Smooth UI. Clean. Very intuitive. Works best with iOS7.

  • Much wow

    by Devin Turner

    Such good

  • Best reddit app available

    by Pdd674

Hands down the best reddit app for iOS, I've tried others and nothing compares. And if you run to any problems, there's an active subreddit run by the developer himself to help you out.

  • If you're looking for a good reddit app, stop now.

    by EqualsNorr

Out of the many reddit apps I've used on my iPod 4, I can confidently say this is the best one and even go farther to say I'm not looking any further. From it's design and overall feel, I can't express how great this app is if you are a redditor. As for the developer, I can safely say I would recommend this to all my friends who currently use reddit. You've made my day, and I've made sure to make that in-app contribution.

  • The Best Way to Browse Reddit

    by Justin Norman

Clean, simple design that looks much improved over the actual Reddit site, customizable themes, every feature you could ask for. Definitely worth the money for the paid version. Buy it and support this great developer.

  • Love it

    by ~Barbara~

Couldn't live suggest out it. I actually use it for reddit more then the site.

  • Well done!

    by kschap

Great app. Looks good, works well--worth upgrading, too, but it's good even if you don't.

  • Great app but has problems

    by Bengal Fighter

This app is great and probably my most used app but it crashes whenever I try to view an imgur album which has gotten very annoying.

  • Looks cool

    by romantic egoist

Unfortunately it only loads content about 50% of the time, even when is working fine

  • Immature

    by Grizzlemaw

Very immature move with ireddit. I paid for alien blue, but come on!

  • Nah

    by |ok|bk|

    Not at all

  • Fantastic app!

    by Zane Fowler

This is by far my favorite Reddit client. It allows me to browse Reddit to it's fullest; from anywhere. I recommend it to anyone on-the-go

  • Ok, could be better.

    by Tapoozula

There are a lot of features missing from the desktop experience on this app. Well, if these features exist I am not aware of them. For example, I want to see ALL of the child comments. This is impossible without opening each comment in Safari or trying to double swipe to open in another window. It also has several bugs which cause hangs and crashes. All 5000+ character threads like those in /r/nosleep will crash after scrolling for a bit. I guess it just doesn't live up to RES, but the night mode is what keeps me using it.

  • Better than browsing with a computer

    by Ex8120

The interface is so smooth and easy to operate, that I end up using AlienBlue more for browsing Reddit than my own computer. There was a lot of thought put into the layout and functionality of this app and I highly recommend it to anyone as the best app for Reddit mobile browsing.

  • The definitive way to browse Reddit on your phone

    by joeface

This application is great. It doesn't skimp on the features and is an overall great experience.

  • Child Porn

    by Zach Eldin

This is a horrible app, and should be removed from the App Store. There were people who were looking at child pornogrophy on this terrible app and it's horrible.

  • Best Reddit Cient

    by Anthony12698

This app is so good!! And the developer and mods are always there to hear your feedback! Every subreddit you browse is organized and I haven't had any crashes after using Alienblue for 2 years now!

  • Instantly deleted.

    by CaptainDeadman

Not very intuitive at all. Tiny icons/buttons, no content filter options, crashes(crashed twice within 5 minutes), and just terribly designed overall. Definitely the worst of the Reddit clients in the App Store. I recommended iAlien instead.

  • Alien Blue is the best

    by PxFxLopez

The version just before iOS 7 was crashing a lot on my iPhone 4 but this iOS 7 version has improved immensely. It's a great app. Just needs a couple of performance enhancing and stability updates. Also, maybe another way to use optimal mode, the current way can be frustrating.

  • Love it but latest update

    by anastasia_g

Keeps crashing when I try to email links :(

  • Best reddit client, EVER!

    by SkyGrid5

The absolute best thing ever! The best reddit client on the App Store, nothing compares!

  • The BEST Reddit client

    by OctopusToe

The developer is honorable, doesn't scale you and has worked so many customizations into this product. This is my most used app.

  • Excellent app

    by villas

Sí disfrutas reddit esta es la única opción en móviles

  • No

    by kikis sanchez

Id like for an app that I paid to not crash every two worst

  • Best reddit app by far.

    by AnaMiranda

Definitely the most stable and slick

    by TheBlackStarUniversity

This is honestly one of the best app for reddit.

  • Better

    by J-NickTaken

Much better than the other clients I've tried.

  • The best for iOS

    by PuppyMillMonster

I wish there was a Mac client

    by H22k mike

Buy this reddit app don't buy any other scam fakes ALIEN BLUE is the original

  • Best Reddit app

    by Fakenickname577893

Beautiful, easy-to-use, unobtrusive app. I've tried a couple Reddit apps and this one is the clear winner.

  • The only way to Reddit on your iPhone

    by Laughing Coyote

If you're going to read Reddit and you have an iPhone, you need AlienBlue.

  • Best Reddit App. Period.

    by Not gonna lie...

Perfect, seamless Reddit client. Only thing better is the iPad version.

  • Great App!

    by Jefubusted

This is the best Reddit client. Don't waste your time with any others.

  • Best Reddit app on iOS

    by TheSweeney2011

Absolutely the best reddit client on iOS. Don't even bother with the other options. Alien Blue is the gold standard app for redditors.

    by Cali_Boy87

The best reddit app for iOS. Don't waste time or money on anything else. This is legit.

  • Excellent

    by trixypixie

Kudos to the dev for this amazing app. Can't live without it

  • Makes reddit make sense

    by Sophia6919

Fantastic update. The swiping ui continues to be the best part. Best app of all time. Open to user suggestions. Many thanks for this.

  • Best app out there!

    by Vatitlegirl

This is my #1 application of all-time, and it's developed and designed extremely well. Jason has done a fantastic job in pleasing his consumers. There may be one bug, possibly two, but the sheer beauty of this application allows anyone to overlook it. Download this!

  • The best way to browse reddit

    by justin.mi

Want to browse reddit on your phone? This is the app to do it. It works amazingly smooth and is so great that I will choose alien blue on my phone over reddit in my internet browser on my laptop.

  • Great Reddit experience on mobile

    by Krish-uh

I absolutely love Alien Blue. It has its bugs, yeah, but overall this is the best Reddit experience on mobile in my opinion. It does everything I need it to do, and honestly I often prefer to use Alien Blue than browse Reddit in a desktop browser.

  • Another great update

    by Class_Act

Solid as always. I've used this app for years now, still being updated and improved. Wish it was an rss reader as well...pipe dreams.

  • Great app

    by jala528

The best app for reddit users. Trumps iAlien or whatever that app is called now.

  • Best Reddit App

    by James Jones

Hands down this is the best Reddit app available. I use it on my iPhone and my iPad.

  • Best Reddit client for iPhone hands down

    by P155P00RP3T3

If you have iOS and you use Reddit, this app will improve your life.

  • Best iPhone Reddit app.

    by Adsarasin

I've seriously tried them all. Alien Blue rocks. I even upgraded to premium just for support. I prefer browsing reddit in my phone because of it.

  • There isn't really a better choice.

    by T-odd-e

Outstanding in every way. I'm still finding cool features after a year of using it. I really don't bother to use my PC anymore.

  • Just awesome

    by Taats

I literally use this app more than all other apps combined. Buy the pro upgrade to support this, even if you don't use the extra options, it really is that good.

  • Hands down, the best reddit client for your iOS device.

    by BrentRS1985

    You will not be disappointed.

  • Crashes

    by Rochaggy

I really loved this app until the most recent update. Now whenever I go to subreddit pages like AppHookup, it crashes

  • I LOVE it!

    by Animalgal808

Great app. Works wonderful on my iPhone 5. I just wish I could view how many upvotes/down votes a single post gets. That would be the ultimate. My favorite feature is the password protection. No more worrying about my siblings getting into my reddit. Thank you.

    by Vellastine

iAlien is miles beyond this app, and the developer of this one keeps throwing tantrums and accusing the iAlien developers of stealing.

  • Meh I like iAlien better....

    by HockeyGoalieGuyMN

This is ok .... Personal preference I guess.

  • Needs a serious UI update

    by kwjohns83

Despite all of the features this reddit client offers, it looks seriously dated. I find myself using an alternative app that has a much nicer iOS 7 UI simply because the design of Alien Blue is so annoying and requires a lot more taps to get around the app.

  • Still authenticating after a week!?!?

    by EmbraceEphemeral

So I downloaded this app after a friend said it was amazing. Right away I upgraded to Pro, and I still haven't been able to use this because it says it's still taking to to authenticate. I have sent emails to support from both my iPhone and laptop to make sure they went through and still have not received a response. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Once it starts working, if it ever does, I will get back on here and edit this review because I'm sure I will love it. But until now it's 1 star for terrible support, and a waste of $1.99 thus far.

  • Needs work.

    by take_me_seriously

iReddit is so much better. All the "features" in this app make it not good. Also, many blank links.

  • Get This

    by TheBlackKeys

The best Reddit app you can get, hands down.

  • Hm.

    by Ihroh94

It's a decent app, I love reddit. But there's a few really annoying problems. Everytime I open an album, the app crashes. And this is really inconvenient because it shoots me back to the top and I have to scroll alllllll the way back down to get where I was. Another thing, is loading takes forever, and it's not a wifi or data issue. This also makes having to scroll all the way back down that much harder.

  • Favorite app!

    by Matt_6493

I use Alien Blue so often, it's a great app with simple UI that makes browsing Reddit easy. Love the new updates especially as a mod to see when I'm messaged. Also make sure to buy pro, it's only $2 and easily worth it.

  • Wonky since iOS 7

    by doxzero

Quick and short; it breaks pulling up the control panel, and it is constantly reloading and deleting what I've written or what I am looking at if I switch apps and come back.

  • Great with a couple minor nuisances...

    by red_wing_2121

Some of the issues are the lack of an easy way to save gifs and images in some situations. Also, the app seems to have problems loading an image or gif too often. Whether it be an image or gif not showing up or a gif not animating for some reason. Maybe the app is too cumbersome? I don't know. But these nuisances have pushed me to possibly seek another app.

  • Sign in issue

    by sn0w21

it will let me sign in then next time I load app it says sign in failed and then keeps trying until it locks me out of signing in on reddit :/ other than that good

  • Great App but Not so FLAT UI

    by Nishant02

The app is awesome! I just love it! And even the pro version is cheaper than the other clients out there but one thing i'd like to point out and request them to make a FLATTER UI. thats it

  • I miss redditisfun...

    by Fapsauss

This ap is painfully slow. I bought it hoping it would be good but I quickly found otherwise. I use safari over this ap it's that slow.

  • Great app

    by juan.desu

Great app, Clean and easy to use UI,keep up the great work thanks .

  • Meh

    by Fartsmeller the greatest man

Overall not so funny laggy and is to compettitive with other apps try ifuny it is amazing

  • Unhappy lately

    by BrandoLynnn

Lately, AB has been crashing non-stop during all hours of the day, and even though I paid for the pro version I now have adds again. I don't recall having to pay for it each year?

  • So much better than iAlien!

I regretted breaking up with alien blue for iAlien. I'm sorry baby, will you forgive me?

  • Great App - Awesome functionality

    by Simon Baker

This app will do exactly what you're going to download it for. Surfing Reddit on the Go. Easy to Understand interface. Plenty of features, many I don't use, but all integrated seamlessly. You can't go wrong with Alien Blue.

  • Love

    by Afenton0614

This app is perfect. The developer really cares about its performance and does a lot to connect with users about problems/updates. Far and away the best way to browse reddit on your device. I use it on my iPhone 4 with iOS 7, and my iPad 4th Generation with iOS 7 and they both work amazingly. Buy this app!!

  • Ugh.

    by Shaquanna Donner

Hate this app. Going to try a different reddit app.

  • Best Reddit App

  • Great Reddit app

    by joawmeens

Easy to navigate, read, and use. Allows more than one login, and can easily be switched between them.

  • The best Reddit app out there!

    by Dane Deasy

Ditch that other app you're using and get this now. Amazing!

  • Crashy!

    by Kittykittkat

I love this app I spend a lot of my time on it but recently every almost 15-20 minutes the app crashes on me and closes and it's actually annoying.

  • Still not fixed

    by Kbabcocks

Version 2.8.2 still has problems with Imgur albums...only loads 10 images.

  • perfect

    by Rkethledge

Best reddit client out there. Nothing else can compare

  • Even better than the website UI

    by Farlin Paulino

I started using Reddit because of this app. It's very complete and has tons of tools other Reddit apps don't have. Totally recommend.

  • Images

    by JTW08

    Pictures won't load

  • Most used app

by ††The One And Only Warren Cain††

This is the gold standard in Reddit Apps. Continues to amaze me in how fluid, detailed, and simple it is. Bought pro just to support the developer. Well done.

  • Crap

    by Mayfew

Slow, buggy, lockups, and random shutdowns.

  • Great App

    by Billie bob bob22718

This app is a must have for any reddit user. From redditors to observers this app is a must have.

  • Lags a bit.

    by RLD7

Overall the app works okay but is a little slow and shuts down for no reason.

  • Slow

    by Cleaved

This app is slow as all get out. The app looks good, but maybe paying makes it go faster? There is a better and similarly named option out there. Get that app instead and don't waste time with this laggy app.

  • Crash

    by Lenovo220011

Every time I Try to launch it, it just crashes. Please update this app.

  • Too buggy, comments don't appear

    by Lolfhdhrff36

Annoyingly buggy. Comments never seem to appear, which is weird. Too bad seemed like a good app.

  • GET IT

    by Beccca ;)

It's such an addicting app. Love so much
