The IRPJ electronic newspaper lets you read the Indian River Press Journal on your iPad just as it appears in print. You can flip through pages and skim headlines as you would in the printed edition. Better than that, the IRPJ electronic newspaper allows you to enlarge type with the tap of a finger, or jump instantly to the conclusion of a story on another page. You can link to websites mentioned in stories with a single touch, or send an e-mail to an address linked from the newspaper. If you missed the paper one day, don't worry. The IRPJ electronic newspapers lets you download past editions, too.

  • WOW! I'm impressed!!!

This app works beautifully! Much better than the old E-edition. I ran across this app quite by accident even though I read the Press Journal daily. Suggest Scripts PROMOTE the INDIVIDUAL NEWSPAPER apps in addition to their TC Palm app. Great job!

  • Good app and easy to use.

I enjoy reading my newspaper this way.

We find the app very handy. I now read the paper every morning via the app while my wife still likes to read the newspaper it self. However, when we travel, it gives us the opportunity to read the home town paper on the road. My concern is that most of the time it takes a while to render the page 100 % clear where it is readable (may only be a few seconds, but slows you down). I have very good internet service (25 mbps down) so I believe this must be related to a deficiency in the app or the Scripps servers (shame). Also, an improvement I would like to see is an increase in the “zoom in” function. Seems to only increase the text size by ~10% where a variable (or ~20%) increase would be desirable.

  • Works Great!

Wow, the app works great as it did from day one. It provides a way to save some trees while allowing one to travel and have access to the days print. Great job Scripts for the Vero Beach Press Journal.

  • Annoying

    by Claudia Balint

I have paid for an on line subscription and expect to be able to access the digital print copy when I wake at 6 am each morning. Yet each day there is a problem getting that day's paper. I have to delete the app several times and often, I get so frustrated and have to wait until evening to read the paper. More is expected from an app like this!

  • Not free

  • No longer works

It was ok when it worked but now it's not loading. I haven't had an e-edition in a few days.
