Completely stopped loading new stories a few days ago. C'mon AR-N, don't you have anyone checking on things? Also, please consider adding the ability to post online comments from your device.
Great app with one exception - no obituaries. This is one of the main reasons I read the paper. It would be especially helpful when I am away from home to be able to read the obituaries on my phone. I hope they will consider adding the obits to an already great app.
The Reporter-News app does a great job in delivering Abilene's daily news on the iPhone. Yes, there's room for improvement but it stands up to some of the better ones available.
This app is great to keep up with the Abilene news in the palm of your hand. My only constructive criticism would be if they could add a way to share the news stories through Facebook or other social media applications. I love this app otherwise!
The app is easy to navigate. It just needs a way to share articles and leave comments to articles. Great job!
Where is the IOS4 update? Was excited to see this ap for Abilene. However it crashes on the iPhone 4 Please fix so I can delete my bookmark and run this app instead. DK Sweet ios4 works!!! Now my only gripe is I can't login to my account to post comments. I have to still access the mobile browser to make posts.
It's ok.. Abilene Repeater news will always be the same.. Wants to be like the big cities..
This app serves no purpose whatsoever for those who do not subscribe to the Reporter News. You can access pretty much nothing without paying since the new changes were made. I used to enjoy it immensely. Now, it will be deleted. So much for being locally informed.
Page flip animation and bringing Photos section to the front? How about looking at what reviewers asked for instead? Obits and comments ability but more than that, how about a settings for layout? Personally I have the app for reading news, not the weather or photos. Give us the ability to put the sections in order of preference not bury the ability to look through news stories
Why does it need location? Hate that.
Really sucky. No obituaries. News and sports are sparse, poorly updated and nominal at best. Really disappointed.
