NOAA 911 Radio and Warnings
NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards (NWR) is a nationwide network of radio stations broadcasting continuous weather information directly from the nearest National Weather Service office. NWR broadcasts official Weather Service warnings, watches, forecasts and other hazard information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Working with the Federal Communication Commission's (FCC) Emergency Alert System , NWR is an "All Hazards" radio network, making it your single source for comprehensive weather and emergency information. In conjunction with Federal, State, and Local Emergency Managers and other public officials, NWR also broadcasts warning and post-event information for all types of hazards – including natural (such as earthquakes or avalanches), environmental (such as chemical releases or oil spills), and public safety (such as AMBER alerts or 911 Telephone outages).
Pretty good, except need a fix so phone won't cut off radio when it blanks.
App does not work in my area closes is 120 miles away. I trust receive refund app no good very disappointed.
It works very well needs more options like virgin islands and puertorico radar otherwise is very good.
This is exacly what i was looking for. I would more bells and whisles (more more more). it does what i wanted and it does it very well. Good one!
Real simple to use and works great. Having weather alerts at my finger tips is just too awesome.
This is a must have app for all iPhone users. Getting important weather information can save lives or at least some time.
This app might just be one of the best weather apps I've ever downloaded. With live NOAA weather updates, as well as thunderstorm, tornado, and other severe warnings around the US, this app is much easier to navigate around than than the NOAA website. Even the satellite imagery looks amazing on the app. Weather gurus like me should definitely grab this.
Good for what it does, but doesn't cover many locations.
DO NOT waste your money on this. First of all, it is only select cities. Second, you have to read it to be alerted. It does not allow for the selection of a signal active wherever you are and then, if there is a severe weather alert, announce Please return my money!
Want my money back. Does not cover my area. Misleading
When you click on App Support, it takes you to an advertising page for the company that created the program. Thats it! No support! Why?
App does not work. What is the point in getting this and you can't get info in your area on the radio to work.
Very poor coverage in US. No coverage for Baltimore, MD or Phila, PA; both large population areas. No marine coverage. Went to website and tried to contact developer but email was returned as invalid domaine. If you are lucky enough to have a transmitter listed in the program's database, you will likely be happy. Otherwise, blow the app off your device with nothing lost except time.
I was expecting this app to allow me to enter any Zipcode to get alerts. It appears that I can't get anything near me at all, just 70 miles away. That is not useful at all! There was no weather data available for my city. The southeast radar crashed the program. I couldn't find any settings button. I can't speak about the alerts since there are no current threats. By the way, I tried to contact the developer by email first and the email was undeliverable.
