Retemodo is a reverse odometer. Set your desired distance and it counts down until you have reached it!
Perfect for alerting you when you are approaching an important freeway exit, knowing when you have biked 10 miles or when jogging, allowing you to do "Out and Back" runs of specific distances.
- Works in the background, leave the app and let Retemodo alert you when you reach your distance.
- Metric or Imperial
- Audible and text alert when distance is reached.
- Notification Center alerts.
- There is also an Odometer view included in Retemodo. Just swipe across the screen to flip and see a standard Odometer. Swip to flip back to Retemodo!
Note: Using Retemodo inside a building will not work very well as it is hard to get a GPS fix. Please use outside or in a car. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
This app does it's job very well. It's only downfall is that it doesn't calculate very short distances well at all. But it makes sense why. I give it five. ^_^
Perfect for when I am out walking especially in an unfamiliar city
I only wish that you could start in odometer mode without setting a distance.
does what it says
Very simple app that works great.
Love it!! I use it on reverse most of the time to see how far I've walked or jogged. Great app! :)
Haha smart clever app name! 5 stars!!
Please explain somewhere how to customize notifications, or that you mean the kind of system notifications can be chosen as with other apps in Notification Center. Thanks!
This is the best!
Great app! It's worked perfect each time I've used it. It has come in very handy when I'm walking and riding my bike!
Very well designed and easy to use. More intuitive than the Nike+ app.
I use this app for biking, hiking, love it!!
When following directions to a new location I always am worried that I have driven past an exit. I found this app was very useful to reassure myself that I hadn't driven too far. I punched in a distance a little shorter than what the directions indicated, and then my phone gave me an audible warning that I should start looking for my exit. Worked perfectly and allowed me to relax a little while driving somewhere new.
