  • Not worth it

I bought this one because I am going to Miami on vacation and wanted to save some cellular data use on my iPhone. Since my iPad is Wi-Fi only, this offline map sounded like magic. I was wrong. I can't find my hotel because it is not listed, and I can't find it using the address because the app only finds places that are on the index catalog. You can, however, add a pin manually to any place you like but then, my friend, you'd have to know Miami well enough or use Google Maps as a reference. If I have to use Google then, well, why buy this thing? The map is 2D, ok. But it is so heavy it makes my iPad feel like an iPhone 3G. If I could, I'd ask my money back. I am sad I didn't have a review for this one when I was browsing...
