Description

The Anthem app includes Find a Doctor. Search for doctors, hospitals and other medical service providers near you. You can also search by specialty, whether you want a male or female doctor, or if you prefer other languages than English.
Members with drug coverage through our health plans can easily fill and refill prescriptions, find a participating pharmacy, price drugs, switch to home delivery and more.
The Anthem app also shows your Anthem ID card, just in case you forget to bring your ID card to the doctor’s office.
The Anthem app uses the same secure login as empireblue.com. If you’re a registered member on empireblue.com, you can simply log in to this app with the same user name and password. If you haven’t registered yet, visit empireblue.com from your computer.

    What is missing is the ability to review claims. This is the primary reason I would use the app. I like being able to fid a doctor, but knowing where my money is is key. If my wildest dreams could come true I would like to be able to submit claims via the app and upload receipts. It is possible-- my fsa provider offers an app like that an my claims are paid so much quicker as a result.

    For whatever reason you can't create an account on a phone. The full site won't load on mobile either.

    This is my first ever review and I felt compelled to write it. This app is the worst app I have ever seen. Nothing works. Terrible. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Waste of time

    I've never written a review before, but EBCBS needs to be aware: whoever you hired to build this app epically failed you. I get 3 error messages upon logging in, and I'm unable to even view my insurance card. Please fix this very broken piece of software, as I would very much like it to work. To the consumer: unless major changes are made via an update, don't waste your time downloading this app.

    It doesn't work! I thought this would be a way to not have to contact them by phone because it's a total exorcise in frustration to have call them. The app is even worse. But it's nice to see they're consistent. Only giving a star because I had to.

    Downloaded this app to get a virtual ID card on my phone. Too bad it doesn't work. Keep getting 'null' errors and other nonsense.

    So far you can only search for doctors and view your ID card. Good start but not enough to make it great. Need ability to view and possibly even submit claims.

    Although I have the latest version The app uploads and says a later version has been found and when I go to update it sends me right back to the App Store and it says open

  • User Experience Needs Work...

    Overall this app has a good set of features. It allows you to search for providers and also can display your ID cards. The one really bad thing about the user experience is when you search for anything whether it be a provider or a pharmacy if you drill down into one of the results and try to go back, it does not bring you back to the search results, it brings you back to the original search screen. You then have to re-enter all the search criteria to get the list of results back. A major inconvenience. The one missing feature it needs is to allow you to review your Explanation of Benefits and claims information.
