  • Love this app!

    by Lohaha

At first I was a bit skeptical about buying a muscle app on my phone, but I'm so happy I gave in! Easy to use and understand, great for on the go or as a resource for study. It's so nice to be able to pull this app up as a massage therapist and show my clients what it is that's causing their pain.

  • Good deal

    by Jcheroske

Good app. Missing at least one muscle: extensor hallucis longus

  • Great!!!

    by Kfunes

Great app, definitely comes in handy when you need to know the location of a muscle. Highly recommend downloading.

  • Pretty good app for med school anatomy but...

    by Daek45

I think there are a couple mistakes (some are just spelling mistakes). One I like to point out is that the serratus posterior inferior is attached to T11-L2 not T11-L3. If some of the mistakes can be weeded out this program is great to solely rely on for studying on-the-go. Also just a suggestion, it would be awesome if in the comments section one can add/write his or her own comments. Love the pronunciation feature!

  • Love it...But......

    by Rosey035998

I just wish there was a way I could choose exactly the muscles that I need to know for my test to be quizzed on instead of being flashed ones that I don't need to know, then I'm wondering in my head is this one I should know or not- it's just annoying to have to deal with that while I'm studying

  • Great App!

    by Fullbug2013

I have used this religiously in my A/P I course. It shows the origin, insertion, and action of the muscles and helps me get a better understanding how it all works especially when my books aren't handy.

Only thing that would make it better is if it had a quiz feature. But very helpful as is.

  • Very Nice App

    by Sadisdix

I'm tying to learn the anatomy before I start chiro school. This is helping me a lot. I especially like the pronunciation. You won't get that with flash cards! It would be nice to have the pronunciation on words you get correct in the quizzes but its still a great app!

  • Good for SPTA's

    by Jon5Lee

Currently going to school to become a PTA. This program gives you the info that will be needed in the programs and beyond to get a head start and make your career easier. The only improvement I could see is if they bolded more important muscles or if the put pinpoint dots on the locations of origins and insertions.

  • Suggested Improvements

    by Addalie's mom

This is a really great concept. However, there are many improvements to be made: 1, you should be able to pick the muscles to be tested on; instead of having to go through all, just to make sure you are being tested on the ones you need to know. 2, not all the muscles I need to know (for a&p 1) are on here. 3, there should be a way to just look at the muscles and have it tell you action, origin, insertion, abductor, prime mover....etc.

  • Not very good

    by shickenphoot

Missing way too many muscle to study from. Wish it had them. It seems like a good app otherwise.

  • Great!

    by Alisarirosa

It's great for those who want to know the basic muscles but for my college anatomy and physiology class, it needs to have more muscles. This is great practice though!

Best App for learning the individual muscles in the body, including their actions, origin, & insertion. Very comparable to what I needed to learn for college. Definitely handy to review when you don't have your school books.

    Useful for a Personal Trainer

  • Great study tool

    by Fgcugirl

This app is a great study tool for learning the muscles. It's nice to have the ability to quickly look up the insertion/origin/action/nerve of any muscle on the go

  • So much easier than an atlas

    by Dimple-darling

This app has helped me tremendously. Being able to visualize the muscles along with quickly locating a muscle without flipping through several pgs of an atlas has made studying so efficient. Also I'm able to remember the actions of the muscles - for ex. watching plantar flexion& all the assoc muscles with that movement enhanced my memory. The quizzes are also very useful!

  • Awesome

    by peggy2009

I loved the way this app allowed me to learn how to pronounce the terms. I was way off base with a lot of the muscles name. The only thing I question is a few of the origins were different than the text book we used in class. However, it would not surprise me if our text was incorrect because there has been several errors in our text.

  • Live action

    by Nianut

Love this app! Asca fitness instructor I love being able to see exactly what the muscles are called, what action they do. Very easy and helpful.
