  • Good info, bad navigation.

This app has some very important information for us new parents. The navigation needs a ton of work though. It's blurry, and doesn't look that good on a retina display; ie 4s. The tabs at the top are very small, and the slide navigation is confusing since there is no way to know what section you are in. These seem like quick fixes. Come on devs!

  • Good design.

The "tab" layout is well designed and easy to use. The instructions are clear. The resoulution of the graphics and font is too low, however. A free update with better resoution would be appreciated.

  • Good idea!

As a babysitter, this is great information to know. And now I have it with me whenever I have my phone. Thanks for doing this app! Definitely a keeper.

This was perfect in my situation. My son was burned when he touched my daughter's curling iron. I never realized that the curling iron could cause such a bad burn. When I read from the MedBasics book to use cool water, my son did seem relieved. It stung for quite a while though as he cried for a long time. So we used the cool water as long as we could. Luckily, we never saw a blister. This whole scenario got me reading about all of the other types of emergencies. I learned a lot about fevers and bleeding that I didn't know before.

This is an excellent guide for dealing with emergencies arising in young children. It will be comforting to know it is available to review, should such an emergency arise.

  • Sucky look, can't even zoom in

    by thatmom2012

This app is crap. Barely readable, like too small PDFs for the tiny screen, pixelated graphics and cheap look. Bothers me that I can barely read the text on such a small screen and the pixelation is amateur. Really nothing you want to deal with in an emergency.

Text too small to read easily.
