“What you offer allows those with lower literacy and numeracy to fairly easily understand concepts they can't comprehend when they read traditional textbooks. Aged care is a huge growth area in countries such as the U.S and Australia. We are desperate for any resources to enable us to educate assistant nurses. They are often people who speak English as a second language or who have little education. Traditional textbooks and nursing videos really aren't suitable. I spend a lot of time searching for anything that will bring the curriculum to life…Focus Apps…are perfect for my students”. --User Review

It's a wonderful app but it definitely needs more definitions for as much as it cost. But I like how it describes what it is and shows what the definition is about. I just wish there was more definitions to learn. My mind wants to absorb more info it was sort of a let down only having a few handfuls of things to learn. I would like to know more about the body like a woman's or mans body separately and know more about other organs and diseases and illnesses and viruses. PLEASE ^_^
As a ER nurse I find it easy to use for patient education, especially when the patient needs a quick visual idea of what I'm trying to explain. The videos are brief but it gets the job done.
Should be over the best, and it is
I am a paramedic student and we are currently in the cardiology section. I downloaded this app to help me. And wow did it. It explains things very well and increased my understand of the heart. I highly recommend this app. Although the voices and accents are interesting to listen too. And I wish there were more things it would describe and longer explanations. Nonetheless this app is worth it and just a wealth of knowledge.
This is great it helps a lot with video. Love it.
Very good for students unfamiliar with this topic.
Acts as a simplified medical dictionary, appropriate for a first year nursing student
I was very disappointed in this app. I am not willing to pay $8/app, when it is advertised as free. I am a peds OR nurse, and would have been a wonderful app to help all our student nurses and new nurses understand the reasons for operating an our kids.
After some videos you need to buy.
Well, this app said free, but there's nothing free about it. Zero info without purchase. I'll just use google! At least give people a free trial! Wasted my time downloading app that said free and then wasnt! As a cardiac nurse always looking for ways to take better care of pts! Apps that say free should be! Deleted automatically when first item I looked up asked me to purchase info! Shame on you for wasting my time!
I just paid 10 bucks for this app, and within 8 minutes, I got a totally blank screen! How in the hell do I get my money back? I'VE BEEN RIPPED OFF! The description says the average video time is 45 seconds. BULL CRAP.
In this case it means if you want more info buy it for $ 9.99. No thanks. We have the internet for that.
Access to only two items, 20 seconds or so, kinda hard to evaluate. Deleting!
Almost all the info want you to buy another app.
It's ok. I wish the. Videos were a little more detailed
There is nothing there. Waste of time.
You can view only the first 2 very short 20 seconds each videos. Then they only display the buy or cancel button. I'll be deleting it. Couldn't really assess it.
Out of over 100 medical listings only 2 can be viewed. Waste of data. DONT GET IT there are other apps just like this that offer more
There is nothing to review. Should not be under a medical heading. Maybe education...okay for first year nursing students. You would have to buy the full version to get any benefit even then.
This Is a cheap way to get you to buy the full version. This free version has nothing to learn from.
Out of the many, many entries in the app, you only get access to the very first two. Then you have to purchase the full app. Seriously? How is anyone supposed to evaluate it if they can't see or use it? Should be a full-use 10 day trial, then you can rate it.
