This is a great app, if you use it. Skipping days or not logging in food will just mess things up. Tracking your calories really helps the diet.

I think this is a great app for one to log the amount of calories consumed, however I don't think it has accurate metrics for the calculated activity level and how that adds to calories consumed. Also calories burned during a body building/xfit workout aren't counted :( other than that, I like how you can scan the barcode to log your food. Great app for that but could use improvement on exercise part
It really does help you stay on track
I originally had this app before baby. I liked it a lot it helped me be more aware of my calories. During pregnancy I wasn't able to fully use the app as well I was having to eat a bit more because my 1200 calories just wasn't cutting it while feeding 2. I eventually stopped using it without the time or energy to focus on pregnancy & a 2 year old. After baby of course like every other woman is wanting to lose baby weight. I wanted to use this app but it doesn't have a choice for breast feeding I did read on sites eat about such & such calories but it would really be great if this app had that included. Breastfeeding burns at least 500 calories a day - I feel It should be an option.

I have an iPhone 5. Every time I've logged in the past couple days, it doesn't show an update. Instead, it will show what someone posted 2 days ago, even though I completed my entry. I have to keep pulling it down and it still takes a few minutes to update. Have never had this problem before.
I love this app. Makes tracking my food so easy! No excuse for not journaling what I eat! I would love to be able to group foods I commonly eat together as a recipe or one-click meal. If that's possible, I haven't figured out how yet.
This is excellent for tracking calories. It has such a large data base you can look at items in restaurants to help decide what to order. Lost 9lbs already controlling portions and calorie intake. It also helps you eat three regular meals a day plus track ur exercise.

American living in the UK and I can hop from US foods to local brands easily. Only wish searching for my frequent items came easier. Foods I've added to 'Breakfast' aren't easily found when I search them to add to 'lunch' or 'dinner'.

Love this app! I was going to sign up for weight watchers to help me get rid of my post baby weight...but I got this app and realized this is all I need! I would have give give stars if it was possible to better personalize the caloric goal. I'm a breastfeeding mom, so I need more calories than usual. I would love if I could have this as an option in the settings! I must say, the database of foods is amazing.
I love this app so much and use it every day! I've lost 25 lbs by using it and it's helped me keep track of what I eat and how much. I like the ability to connect to other apps such as Pedometer to record how many calories I burn while walking or running at different speeds. Great app and definitely my favorite! :)

I love how you can scan the bar code because sometimes it is a pain in the butt to find the food you ate. I just wish it was one step easier.

I love the app. It sinks very well with my Fitbit. The only 2 downfalls are it doesn't show you confirmation of completing a food log and it's confusing if I already submitted it. The other problem is when you do log straight it had an error of only logging x amount of days instead of being accurate. Those are minor and I love the app!!!

I loved this app but I did the update and do not like it now. Instead of giving me my daily calories I should be consuming but now it gives me for the whole week. When I check to see what my weight would be if I continued it gives me off the wall numbers ie, " if you continue you will weigh 99,978.56 in 5 weeks" not making it up. That was the exact number it gave me. It is not user friendly when trying to input homemade food. Hope to see this get fixed.
As someone who hates logging into stuff, it says a lot when I take the time to log into the App Store to rate an app. MFP is the best among the best, and there's no replacement for everything it does.
Hope they'll add some new stuff in the future.

This is a great app, and has helped me with controlling what I eat. I didn't realize just how much I are sometimes! One thing that could be improved are easier editing of recipes, rather than going into the menu of the app. It really is counterintuitive. You shouldn't need to google it to figure it out.

I have been very good about watching calories, but this App takes it to another level. I am Indian and it has the calorie listing if every food I have ever looked for (except for one). Really unbelievable how it comes up with stuff. Shocks me on occasion with various Indian foods and their calories. I love this App and would be willing to pay a one-time fee for it (up to $10), that is how useful I find it. Not that I want to pay tho...;) and I am not a Company person. Thanks.

I love this app! Every food I look up it finds no problem even many restaurants..I wouldn't think it contained so much data it's awesome and makes it fun to use!! I've had apps before that couldn't give me accurate food calorie lookup and I would have to try and find it through google (which is discouraging). I also love how I can make recipes! I've lost 3 lbs in a week and I'm excited!

This is a super simple way to track calories. Especially if you are looking to limit carbs. The program takes all the guesswork out of it.
If you're serious about loosing weight and focusing on your health with dedication this is the App for you. It's very user friendly, excellent data base if foods and their specific nutritional value. It also synchs with very well with my exercise App and calculates everything for me. I don't see it as work I actually look forward to logging in my info. Also it's the best App I have, it's overall functionality is superb! Needless to say, I highly recommend My Fitness pal.
The only fault is not having preset exercises with some default calorie expenditures. Given everyone is different, they could at least put a little bit of them. Other than this this app is fantastic

This app has worked wonders on me. I link it to my Fitbit. It has kept me aware of just what I eat and on track with my daily exercise. In 4 months I am down 20lbs and I feel so much better!! The good database is amazing!! My only problem is that the sync between this app and my fitbit doesn't always happen manually. I have to unconnected it and re-connect it but other than I would absolutely recommend it!!
I have used many tracking apps before, but this one is so easy and the UPC scanning makes for a much easier experience! I wish you were able to incorporate macro goals into the program instead of just using a flat calorie goal, but the functionality is great, easy to use and works for all levels of users for food tracking
