Debbie has a Masters degree in Health Leisure and Exercise Science from the University of West Florida. She received her Bachelor degree in Health and Physical Education from Georgia State University. Debbie is a former Western Canadian Aerobics Champion and Finalist in Miss Fitness USA and Miss Fitness America. She also placed 5th at Nationals in the Super Natural Body Building and Fitness Championship (Fitness division). Debbie trained extensively in ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop musical theater and tap dance. Debbie’s dance training has lead to her interest in Pilates, yoga and aerobics. Throughout her career Debbie has competed nationally in gymnastics, sports acrobatics, sport aerobics, fitness and dance. Debbie hosted her own local fitness television show for two years. She taught high school Physical Education and Dance. Debbie currently teaches the personnel training certification for ISCA and is a Master Trainer for Jeannie-Fit hip-hop. She holds certifications through ISCA and ACE. Debbie has provided continuing education classes for fitness instructors throughout the years in hip-hop, jazz dance, yoga, resistance ball, personnel training, total body sculpting, step, high and low impact aerobics. Debbie has over 30 years of experience in the fitness game. She is a mother of 4.
