The best runner training app available. The recent update made it even better.
So I purchased the paid version instead of the free as it had the features I wanted and for those, I'm willing to kick in a couple bucks. The app does exactly what I need while I run--a quick "run" or "walk" to prompt me to speed up or slow down. I don't need a computer to encourage me ("good work?") as I like to get right back into my music. I'm a beginner when it comes to running and the initial pace is great for me (run 1 minute, walk 2) and even after my second workout, I already feel better than my first. The GPS tracking is awesome the day of the run, but I would like to be able to review my previous path. Also, my friend wants to join me on this routine, but he can't jump in on the 3rd run as the app makes him start with week 1, day 1. I'd go 5 stars when the app can recall past paths and when I can pick my workout. Looking at the other Deltaworks application, I may have purchased too soon. There is an all-in-one run trainer as well.
This app works exactly as advertised on my iPhone4. The voice cues are exactly what I need to keep me from cheating or overdoing it too soon. I've even used it with the speaker when my wife went with me yesterday and it was enough for both of us to hear. I have been running for a couple of years but had no plan, 10K Training is like having my own personal trainer right there with me, that's amazing! Now, With the version 1.1 I can share my training feeling with my friends via facebook and twitter, that's great.
I'm on W2d2 and have used this app since I started.It is great because you don't have to keep looking at your watch, and it just tells you when to walk and jog. Using my own music makes it go much quicker! I couldn't do this running regimen without this program, thanks!
This is just what I need to help me achieve my 10K goal. With the training list in this app, I don't have to worry about planning my own progress anymore. Love the GPS feature, user interface and multitasking.
This app gives structure to my run and I can tell it's helping me get back into shape. It's very easy to use and the GPS module is very helpful. I can play my own playlist when I'm running which will be stopped when play voice cues, that's amazing, love it.
This app is helping me to reach my 10K. The user interface is pretty friendly and the Multitasking is perfect. And when I'm running I can see how far I've gone. Great job!
This app has helped motivate me to start running. I feel as thought I have my own personal coach leading me through my workout. This is an outstanding app for anyone who is beginning to run or is returning to running after a long break. Highly recommend it!!!!!
This app gave me just what I needed to get back to running after many years off, direction and focus. I needed a plan of action to keep me on track and this program fit this bill nicely. Thanks for making a great product.
I just downloaded this app after doing the c25k and doing my first 5k today. But it won't let me skip ahead to a more running day. I don't want to start walking and running again for 1 min times because that will put me back. I downloaded another app that would let me skip forward.
Very disappointed with the voice prompts in this app. There is no encouragement at all. Just a robotic type voice saying run or walk. I have used another 5k training app by Get Running and it is great. Also, even if you dont run, it assumes you did- which makes it difficult if you dont run on your scheduled day. The GPS and music controls are great though.
This app has no flexibility to start partway into the plan. Even if you don't run it assumes you have. The clock numbers are too small to see while running if you want to see how much time is left. One good thing is that the music controls are within the app. There are better apps available for 10k
