I have tried a couple of these 5K apps. And this is the best one. My favorite feature other then it just working properly, is the ability to listen to any type of music from any source outside the app and the app still working properly.
On week 5 now. Have never run before. It is getting hard but I am still at it. Like the app the way it slowly moves you up. I think I can do this.

I love this app! I am not a runner. I have always walked for exercise but wanted to run a 5K with my teen daughter. I used the app to prepare & was able to run my 5K!! Now that the 5K is over, I still use the app as an exercise tool! I highly recommend it!!

I have never been athletic by any sense of the word. I have, however, always wanted to be a 'runner'. This app is fantastic. I started at 0 my friends, barely able to run 1/4 mile. I am very happy to say that I can consider myself a runner now. Don't be afraid if you can't run for long periods of time, this app takes it nice and slow... you won't believe how far you come on a relatively short amount of time. Love it!!
Every time I completed a run, I was surprised I was able to push myself that far. The pace was perfect. Challenging, but doable. Have recommended to friends.

I did every day of this app. Some days were great; some says not so great. I love it though! It turned me into a runner at the age of 49+. I can now run a 5K and have done two races. Now onto 10K's!

I love that I can listen to music, watch shows or play on Facebook while I work out. The app just dings and I know it's time to start running or start walking. I don't think I just do it.
I am not athletic, but I wanted to try to get in shape. I started 5k runner eight weeks ago and now I can run thirty minutes straight without even breathing hard! It gradually increases your run time so that your body becomes conditioned and is able to keep up with the runs. I love this app and will continue to use it even though I have just finished the eight weeks. I highly recommend this app!
Love using this! Trained for my first 5k using this alone, took a year off due to injury and now I'm using again and training with a friend! Takes the guesswork out of it for us.

Haven't run a 5k yet but half way through the training and it works great for training. I do wish I could use my audible app for audio it only support playlists from iTunes.

I was skeptical at first, but this simple app has made me into a regular runner, something I thought was impossible! Just be sure all audio notifications are on or it can get confusing while running.

I love this app!!! I decided I wanted to train for a half marathon and I was not a runner. I have run 5ks in the past, but not in several years. I just finished week 5 and can't wait until my next run!! I love that I can tell that I am building stamina and distance. I feel pushed during the last run of the day, but then that same timed run is easier the next time. Great program!!! I will move on to a 10k after this!

When I started 5k runner I could not run down the block without being winded. After just a couple of weeks it was already seeing progress and feeling great. Now I've completed the 8 weeks and am so motivated! When I started I honestly never thought I'd make it, but I feel so much healthier and want to keep going. This app paced everything wonderfully and gave me the motivation to keep going. 10k runner here I come!
This app is helping me lose weight and gain confidence. I have been able to build a little faster then it asks for but this makes me feel accountable and I love the half way done notification.

Update: Still going strong. Love the app. 2nd Update: Almost done. I run for thirty minutes straight now. I never would've done that without this app. Next up 10K.
I have always been the strength girl that can lift weights, but couldn't even run two minutes. I just finished my fifth week of training and I feel GREAT!! I have only lost a couple pounds, but I signed up for my very first 5k on February 8th (my birthday) and plan on finishing it as a reward for sticking with the program! This app is definitely worth it and my dog now gets excited every morning for her special exercise time with me.

I hated running more than anything before this app. I can now say, I love running! Not to mention I have toned my body to the point all of my clothes are falling off of me. I am so happy with the progression of this app. It builds you up slowly and yet it is not so hard you hate it or fear the next work out. I also love the voice telling you when to run and when to walk. It is like having your very own personal trainer right by your side.

I hated even running ONE mile as a kid. I've wanted to master a 5k for years but never stuck with it. This program is great because you don't have to (and shouldn't!) watch the clock and time yourself. Listen to the music and just wait for the voice overs to guide you. Despite repeating a week that got me down and taking a whole week off due to an illness, I finished the program and can't wait to try their others (on to a 10k)!

I have been attempting to run a 5k for a long time. I have never been very active but this program is easy to follow and builds up distance nicely. I often need to repeat days to complete them. I have not made it to the end, but I keep returning to this app and start again. I don't think of myself as a runner but I do run.

I am 33, a former smoker, and had not run even a fraction of a mile since middle school PE before starting the program. I got this app after being told about "couch to 5k" plans from a co-worker. Today is the 1st day of my eighth week and I went outside to run the 28 minutes, felt like pushing it, and ended up running my first 3.1 miles in 37:11. This app is simple and effective. Just follow the plan and you will be a runner.

I have to start by saying I do NOT like running...yet. I'm hoping the more I do it I will get to loving it. I've only gotten to week two so far, but have to say that I like pace that it sets. The first week seemed really easy to me, which is good for motivation. The next week adds a little challenge but is still doable. I really like this app. I can easily listen to music at the same time and still hear the prompts. Great app.
