Please be advised that payment for this game is in no way related to CRYSTAL DEFENDERS and CRYSTAL DEFENDERS for iPad.
"Crystal Defenders,” a defense simulation game highly rated the world over for its simple gameplay and deep strategy, is back! Introducing “Crystal Defenders Plus,” the latest evolution in the hit series.

It’s never been easier to enjoy this game. Simply download the app and play the introductory map (The Bisga Greenlands from W1) for free. And if you want to keep playing, you can purchase additional maps, either individually or all at once.

New maps are also planned in future updates. The fun has only just begun!

*Please note that until additional maps have been released, game content will be identical to "Crystal Defenders."

About Crystal Defenders

“Crystal Defenders” is defense simulation game in which you deploy Soldiers, Black Mages, and other characters with jobs from “Final Fantasy Tactics” to defend your party's crystals against hordes of monsters. Available on a variety of platforms worldwide, this hit title has already exceeded a million downloads.

Three versions available: W1, W2, and W3. W1 provides an introduction to the game, W2 ups the strategic ante with a new game element known as Power Crystals, and W3 challenges even the most seasoned players.

A wide variety of monsters continuously appear at the map entrance, then try to make their way to the exit. There may even be more than one entrance and exit! You lose crystals whenever a monster makes it out. Deploy a variety of characters, including Soldiers and Black Mages, to prevent encroaching monster hordes from stealing your party's crystals. Anyone can learn to play this simple game system in no time, yet it still demands advanced strategy. You must consider map topography when placing characters, deploy military might according to the attributes of enemies that change with each stage, level up characters in the most efficient manner, and keep other strategic considerations in mind.

    I like it

  • What's the difference between this and Crystal Defenders?

What's the difference between this and Crystal Defenders? Seriously Squenix, do you really need money this badly?

  • Only because of the sale...

    by Wiarumas

At $4.99, this game is priced reasonably... expensive, but doable. Over $5 though? Not so much. Plenty of other more substantial, better designed tower defense games all under $5 (even at $0.99 or $1.99). Square Enix is failing to adapt to the changing mobile market. They refuse to look at their competition and assess the market, going by the beat of their own drum, which looks like it is heading straight off a cliff. They should just stick to console games honestly or rework their business model.

  • Finally!

    by LN3000

I've been waiting to get Crystal Defenders forever!! Glad to finally see a universal version, and the unlock is cheaper than getting one of the separate versions. And this has iPhone 5 support! Thank you for releasing this, and at a good price!

  • Good game

It's nice to see that SE is finally starting to release universal apps. I can't believe this other moron assumed he would get a discount on W3 for no reason, why not just get all 3 at once and definitely get a discount if you were planning on buying all 3 anyway. If I didn't already own this on iPhone I'd get it but unless I get an iPad I have no reason to buy this again unless the old version doesn't get the new content this game will be getting. This is the first tower defense game I ever played and it's still good 4 years later.

  • A year and still no new content

    by jeff1516

Feel extremely ripped off. Purchased because of the promise of new maps, but it's been a year now still nothing. They just rereleased the same game and asked for more money. I will change to 5 stars as soon as they keep their promise

  • PSP version is better

    by Corey Kasmierski

I have played crystal defenders on here for quite some time, can't seem to beat the first level... I play on the PSP one time same strategy and beat the whole game without losing a gem... The games got messed up physics on the tablet version. Just get it for PSP.

  • Can't buy

    by Yytggg

Won't let me do anything on the iPhone 5

  • Frustrating

    by Ehxe

If you like the first free levels then click here to unlock each of the other levels! That's right; put in your password... Don't worry about what it unlocks or how much, just put your password in first! (Terrible. The core game is adequate and it is nice to play the characters you've learned from Final Fantasy games, but that's about the extent of the fun.)

  • Good game but ...

    by eikers

There is NO OPTION to purchase w1-3 per sale. I have purchased w1and w2@ $1.99 each thinking the third would be discounted. If someone could please contact me, I will pay the difference. Otherwise, the bundle sale price is a fraud, and that's disappointing. Thank you.
