A 1953 film directed by John Huston. The script was written day-by-day as the film was being shot.
A group of four international crooks are stranded in Italy whilst their boat is being repaired. They are joined by the Dannreuthers and are all headed to Africa. Everyone thinks they are heading there to sell vacuum cleaners but little do they know they are actually planning on buying land thought to be loaded with uranium, but are they alone in this plot to deceive?

Customer Reviews

  • Not bad. No; pretty good (for $0.99)

This is one of my favorite movies and NOT available for sale on iTunes movies. The quality is good on the iPhone though someone could complain that it seems a little dark but the contrast is sufficient. Am overjoyed to have this classic on my iPhone to watch on the subway or on airport runways or whenever I need a dose of very wry humor. I will now look at other Films4Phones!
