ABOUT 123 COUNT WITH ME
123 Count with Me is an interactive, fun and educational book that helps children learn how to count. Each number from 1 through 14 is paired with a different animal, and the colorful pictures tell the story of what those animals do as you count along with the narrator. There is a music video bonus feature at the end of the StoryChime and when you play it, it turns the text on the pages into the lyrics of a song, complete with wild animal sounds!

iPhone OS 2.2 or Later
This app has some technical flaws. Having said that, I would still recommend it as a free app that will appeal to little ones. The rhymes are cute, the illustrations are clever, and the music is engaging. The "bonus" song is very catchy and makes you want to sing along and "count with me."
What the screen captures above don't show you is this hideous, dark "3D" shadow on the right edge of the screen, to make it feel like the page of a book. It's so dark it covers up some of the illustration, and actually obscures some of the animals that your child is trying to count! How have the developers not recognized this problem?? Plus, I know it's free -- but there simply isn't enough content. There are far better toddler options in the iTunes store.
