Customer Reviews

  • Great program

    by SacCal

Easy to use with immediate answers, but lacking derivations. It's like using a calculator.

  • Great!

    by Leo San

    This app is awesome!

  • Student

    by Rafeeq 1

    Nice!

  • Physics solver

    by Halloweenguy

This app has it limits but for a person like me that doesn't have much room for all the simple calculations on my paper, it works well

  • Quantum mechanics

    by Episus

Great app just keep expanding it great future in store for you and this program

  • Needs improvement

    by Studplayrico

Needs to expand upon equations, just like AJ Design Software. In addition include SI units like joule, kg, m, etc, on The answers.

  • Formulas

    by clw6445

This app needs to show how it got the answer so people can comprehend how to do it later

  • Needs Quantum Mechanics

    by Physicist25

Great app, works awesome! Could use a section specifically for Quantum Mechanics. It also needs more units.

  • Good...but

    by Jacob r. Sutton

I love this it works like a charm however you must know what you're doing to plug in the equations btw I'm using the iPod 4 th gen

  • Needs units!

    by Skip n Alaska

Many calculations fail because of incorrect use of units. Could also use an example of each formula for study/reference. THEN I could approve it for student use...

  • Great app, but will love to have the formulas as well. 4 star!!!

    by dajean

    Deo

  • Looks very good

    by Tom in MN

I haven't used very much of this, however, it really helps in the instances I have used it.

  • Formulas on your sides

    by Bah14

Did you ever got stock, wondering which formulas to use? Well, now you get physics calculator. Most physics formulas used. It will just make your life easier. One of the best apps!

  • Ohms law calculator

    by Rgw285

Great tool for learning the trade

  • Very useful!

    by ricosuavemente

    Very useful when doing homework!

  • Very good

    by Polo1979

    Believe me ... It helps!

  • Good

    by Durnik

I found this app to be valuable when helping my daughter with her physics homework

  • Great app

    by Jonas Ciabis

I love this app, in last physics test my teacher allowed me to use it and I got an 8

  • Awesome

    by policy420

Its awesome for my college physics class! Thanks!!!

  • Good job!

    by Vaqas A Khan

Excellent app! Would pay much more for it! :D

  • No engineering unit = bad data

    by Ron8blu

What good is a calculator without engineering units noted??

  • Physics calculator

    by Exponent me

Decent app, but could be better. Most noticeable deficiency is the lack of an exponent button on the input calculator for the various formulas. You have to manually enter all zeros for the variables. For a variable like 7.35 x 10 to the 24th power, you do the math!

  • Unit failure & lack of equation instruction

    by deuce616

Needs some real help in the help depart. Would be great if you had a college physics book in front of you to plot your homework. Stinks for us no engineer folk trying to apply calc's to real world problems. Looking forward to revision.

  • Yessiree

    by Yesthatsgood

Would be a five if it only indicated units.

  • Needs Units

    by Art_70

The input arguments and result value should all indicate the units of measurement used.

  • Not very useful

    by Ratzofatzo

No units. God knows what the calculations are based on. Till units are added and maybe a help with a simple sample for the purpose it is practically useless.

  • Ok

    by Sstan911

    Need to add units!!!!!

  • Bad for students

    by redpony77

I admit it, I'm biased. I'm a physics teacher and I hate tools like this because students use them to "pass" homework assignments. Then they fail tests and wonder why. If this app is used to CHECK a homework problem after an honest attempt is made to solve independently then it may be an "okay" tool. It would be better if it showed all the steps to solve it. One thing I did notice in the short time I used it... It couldn't calculate a negative impulse... Students beware...

  • Include units and I'll buy it

    by Awesome update

Include units and I'll buy it, major draw-back.

  • Needs units

    by Bpettitt

Great idea but needs to include units to be useful. Unit conversions within the calculations would be great ( like Hp 48gs )

  • Poor app

    by LetsPlayTakeApart

Formulas are probably correct but what are the units? Newtons? foot pounds? Miles or meters per second?

  • Needs equations

    by lkirk3

This app would be great but it doesn't have any equations!

  • Pretty good

    by @atmark9001

    Missing ohms law

  • Functional

    by Daebleak

This app is quite functional, but it still needs to list the full formula on the solver page. The addition of formula would greatly benefit students in remembering HOW to solve a problem, not just getting the answer. That would make this a 5 star app.

  • Great app

    by DJPannell

Currently taking physics 2 - electricity and magnetism and this app is a great reference when doing hw and really cuts down on calculation errors...

  • Great App!!!!

    by mtnlivn

This is on my local iPhone hard drive which means I can use it as a reference when I don't have the Internet. Thanks! David
