Great and educational. The reference on the other review about the tracing being to easy is way off. Our little girl is younger and the tracing on the abc game was so hard she gave up. Having it this way it makes it fun and interactive for younger kids that are the target of this game. Way to go on this app. God Bless.
This is a great tool to help learn numebrs in a fun way. There are areas for writing practice, coloring, counting, puzzles, videos and games. Each number has its own set of fun. Elmo is encouraging during the entire app. Another viewer was disappointed with the ability to write anywhere on the screen, but for me, that's where being there with the child and guiding and encouraing them in the proper way to write the letters comes in handy. This fun app makes the little ones want to do things by themselves . Love this!
Lots to do, educational yet fun
My 2 year old granddaughter loves Elmo and numbers but gets frustrated when it crashes so much, so does Granny after paying $6.00 for an app we cannot use. Also, I agree with others that it needs work on allowing the kids to trace the numbers wrong but receiving praise.
This is an incredible app and you get a tremendous bang for your buck because each of the 20 numbers has multiple games and activities leading to LOTS of happy and quiet and educational toddler hours.
My 2 year old LOVES this app! Its interactive play is great, and keeps his attention! He has learned how to count to 20 and we've only had it for about a week! Highly recommend!
My 22 month old seems to enjoy this app. She loves the ABC app too. $5 is kinda high but you don't have to worry about ads or in app purchase suggestions. There are plenty of cute little clips and areas for coloring. The number tracing is no where near accurate but that is not a deal breaker. Overall enjoy this purchase!
My 6 year old son loves this app, but wishes that it included the number "0"
This app and it's number trace feature is appalling. Your child can scribble on the screen, draw lines of gibberish and as soon as the app thinks you have filled in enough of the number, it cheers and says well done! Rubbish. Do not buy this. There are FAR better apps that do not let your child draw any old thing or scribble in any direction. Proper form and order is important. Why let your child learn something that is incorrect? I promptly deleted this AND the Abc version off my ipad. Thankfully only paid 99cents for them but even then....not worth it.
The app doesn't work. It wont load.
Please fix, my son really likes this app but it keeps crashing! Also music videos would make the app a lot better.. I bought this app thinking it would be the same concept as Elmo's ABC, which it is except it has no music, so it makes it boring. Would not recommend this app unless they fix the crashing
This app would be fine, in fact excellent, IF it wasn't for the fact that it does not enforce correct form when tracing and drawing letters/numbers. It shows the correct form the first time, but allows the child to draw the letter backwards or haphazardly, then congratulates them on doing a good job. Therefore, sad to say, we cannot use this app in our school.
Elmo ABCs is excellent, but this app falls way short. When my daughter traces the numbers it doesn't make her draw the entire number. She'll touch a couple of spots and it allows her to go on. Need to improve this app
Keep on crashing within seconds of using the app.
My 21 month old daughter seems to like it, so overall I think it can be great. However I recently upgraded to iOS 7 and the app keeps crashing. In some cases several times in a row after you tap the first button. I would wait until the next app update before buying.
Crashes and force closes ALL the time on ios7. Absolutely unacceptable !!!
