Bin Konno
Born in 1955, in Hokkaido. During his studies at Sophia University in 1978, Konno wrote his first novel “Kaibutsu ga machini yattekuru,” which was awarded for best newcomer award. Years after working at the record company, he officially became a writer. In the year 2006, with the piece “Inpei sousa,” he was given the 27th Yoshikawa Eiji Bungaku Newcomer award, and in 2008 with “Kadan Inpei sousa 2,” he was awarded the 21st Yamamoto Shu-goro award and, 61st Japan Suiri Sakka Kyou Kai award. Starting with the “ST Keishi-chou Kagaku Tokusouhan” series, “Azumi han” series and the “Inpei sousa” series that later became a Tv drama, Konno produced many works. He was also in charge of the Okinawa traditional Karate Dojo, “Karate-dou Konno Jyuku.”
