    Very engaging

  • Good app

    by wanttodo69

Great app for people who like fairies. I recorded the whole story in my voice! I really like this app

  • Great Disney Storybook!!

    by BroncoGirl2007

I just bought my iPad last week, and am having so much fun with it. I am truly enjoying these apps! This one is for sure one of my favorites. It is a beautiful Disney Fairy storybook - the pictures are just amazing. Even though it is a bit short, it is worth every penny. Get for your app collection! You will not be disappointed!! :-)

  • Loved it!

    by Cory summers

It is short but a lot of fun. Worth a buy!

  • Very disappointing

    by Mygirlkae

Very disappointed in this app. We have many of the other Disney read aloud apps and they are much better. This app would not work using the auto play function, so my 2 year old had difficulty navigating the pages. No puzzles or coloring pages as in the other apps. Fairy dust was pretty lame.

  • Overpaid

    by Star mommy

3.99 for a short story is a waste of money. My daughter loves the pixie dust and how it reads the store but it's not worth 3.99.

  • Fantastic Fairies

    by UndyBear

My daughter loved 'pixie dust' and all of the other interactive parts of the story. As an early reader, she also learned a few new words (which made her parents happy :). Would like to see more Fawn and Rani in the future.

  • Good but not great

    by rhljk14

We have all of the Disney book apps and they are all great. This one is good, but it doesn't have all of the things to do like the others. I hope puzzles get added in a future update. $3.99 for the short story alone want worth it. Regardless, it's a great children's story and my daughter loves it.

  • Please help

    by VUSD

App worked perfectly for about 6 months then every time the kids try to open it, the loading screen comes on for a few seconds then it goes back to the home screen. Please help, the kids love this app.

  • Don't bother

    by crissy0902

This app was not worth the $3.99 charged. Boring & very short.

  • Fairy book

    by .,op

Very scary for a child of four years .There is a cat that claws and screams at the fairys through out the story. I highly do not recommend this for any age

  • Can I get a refund?

    by Kylefreud

Works as is should for me but its just a short story (same as the movie) and theres really nothing to play. Fairy dust does nothing, picture at end is lame. Wish I had read the reciews before buying. This think stinks. My 5 year old agrees. Wish I could give zero stars!

  • Waste of Money

    by ALa_119

The "story" is a very very summarized version of the third fairy movie. Tink is only seen on 2 pages... Very disappointing for my little Tink fanatic daughter. Interactive? Not even close. Touching the characters just adjusts the view on the page - slightly. And the blowing of pixie dust is random and makes no sense to the story. Very sad with Disney on this app.

  • Doesn't work

    by Jaybone131313

The app shuts down before the story is over. It quits on the same page every time.

  • Don't waste your money

    by Mamarayro

After the book there's nothing to do. The picture you take is just that you it just shows the pic next to a fairy it does not even put their face on the fairy. This was a waste....it says there are puzzles to do but there are none.

  • Camera does not work with ios5

    by Chiakidad

Please FIX THIS. My child loved to take her picture while facing the iPad screen. Very disappointing.

  • Stuck at End

    by Rcsung

The last screen on the app is photo capture screen. The app gets stuck on last screen because the camera controls do not work. Only way to recover is to kill the running app and restart. I have ipad2 with ios5.

  • Don't waste your money!

    by Spaccia

This crashed within 2 minutes of downloading. We have deleted and reloaded several times but cannot get more than a few minutes before crashing again. NOTE - once it crashes, you HAVE to delete and reload. Total waste of money!!!!

  • Not worth anything

    by A&M Mom

Blowing fairy dust feature doesn't work. First couple of times there was a weird echo when the reader was reading. Had to reinstall to get rid of. There are only like 3 things to touch and move throughout the whole story. Thought there would be something on every page. Not happy with this purchase.

  • Why an echo??

    by Barb5122

A cute story, good graphics--but the story has an "echo" which is kind of annoying! Why is that?

  • Very cute, but not working

    by Sbtucker

My 3 1/2-year-old really enjoyed this interactive and very cute app (esp. the ability to "blow" fairy dust) and asks to play with it often, but it froze on the picture-taking feature and stopped working the day after we purchased it.

  • No audio

    by Libbylatte

The audio stopped working after 4 pages.

  • Disney dropped the ball

    by goodentree

This app is nothing like the other Disney books for the ipad {Princess and the Frog, Toy Story}. My daughter is three and hadicapped so the autoplay feature is a must. While the app has the option, it only works sometimes. I hope there will be an updated fix for this issue.

  • Keeps crashing

    by Carol Crenshaw

Very disappointed!!!! App keeps crashing and can't even get through the whole story. Just wasted $3.99!

  • Disapointed

    by Jbshines

Pretty illustrations and pixie dust is cool, but over priced. My daughter (age 4) was bored by about the third time opening the app. Hopefully updates will be loaded with features to me it worth the money.Overall disapointed.

  • App keeps crashing

  • Does not work with iOS 5 beta 2

    by unsmashed

Tries to load but always quits.

  • Not Disney Quality

    by MDDisdad

We've bought just about all of the Disney books and this is by far the worst in terms of quality and value. I was really disappointed, and I'm hoping they take a fresh look and consider an update to improve this. For anyone used to buying Disney apps such as the Toy Story series and Princess and the Frog, we've come to expect 1) that each page will have at least one if not multiple interactive features, 2) some pages have bonus puzzles, coloring pages or games, 3) video clips from the movie versions are embedded in the story, and 4) you get the full story retold in the book. This app fails in each of these areas. The interactivity is minimal. Some pages have no interactive features. For many pages the only interactive feature is the fairy dust. The fairy dust feature is less exciting on iPad1 which does not have a microphone and by the 5th or 6th time that the fairy dust feature appears in the book it feels very repetitive and seems like the developers just stopped trying. Most of the interactive features consist solely of tapping on a character and watching that character wobble on the page. Overall the interactivity shows a distinct lack of creativity, which is quite out of character for Disney. There are no puzzles, coloring pages or games in this book nor are there any video clips from the Great Fairy Rescue movie - again these are features that were included in past Disney book apps and their absence here is odd. Lastly, the story told in this book is a very abbreviated version of the movie. In any retelling of the story you will obviously have to cut some material, but anyone who has seen the movie would probably agree that this app cuts most of the plot. No mention of Lizzie's dad or their relationship. No scenes of Lizzie learning about fairies from Tink. No explanation of how Tink becomes trapped. It's really sad. The app also crashed the first time through the story, and when I restarted the sound had a bizarre echo that I could only get rid of by shutting down the iPad. If this was the first app that Disney produced, perhaps these shortcomings could be forgiven. But it's hard to understand how they could produce a beautiful, fully interactive app like Princess and the Frog, and and then produce this weak shell. They set the bar high with their prior digital books, and this app is not even close to being up to par. I will be very cautious in purchasing any future books.

  • Short story

    by Jonathan Space

I thought I was paying 3.99 for some active game but it's nothing but a five min short story. What a waste of money

  • Tinker Bell and the Disappearing Balance

    by smalls178

I'm not sure what I expected for 3.99, but this was sadly deficient. A story with a good amount of interactivity is what I has expected. What was provided was an brief story with extremely minimal interactivity. Quite a disappointment.
