*** New version of this app has been submitted and is waiting for Apple's approval. All taxi types (Urban, New Territories and Lantau) are supported in the new version.

This tool helps travelers in Hong Kong to estimate the taxi fare ("red" taxi) for each trip.

User can first get the rough distance (in km) between the start and end points using the built-in Map app. He/she can then enter the distance to this tool and get the estimated fare.

Please note that other charges for waiting, pets and baggages carried, and fees for tunnels are not included.
