• LawBox 1.2 has been submitted to Apple. This maintenance updates features a faster launch time and improved rule navigation.

• The complete state codes of California and New York will be available shortly. You can explore these rule packages using the in-app store, but they will not be available for download until approved by Apple.

• LawBox 1.5 is under development. This version will integrate with thelawbox.com to allow users to add their own news feeds and categories. Please tweet additional feature and content requests to @lawbox. You can do so from the "About" screen within the app itself.

LawBox was designed for law students and legal professionals. It features a rules browser, for searching through statutory works, and a news browser for catching up on the latest legal news and blog posts. Full Instapaper and Twitter integration allows your to save and share articles of interest when you’re online, or queue them for later action when you’re offline.

Highlights: multi-level rules browser with search-capability, pre-populated news index, Twitter and Instapaper integration, inline store.

• Includes Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Federal Rules of Evidence, and United States Constitution. Additional rules packages are available for download - from within the application - using an inline store.

• Top-down search allows you to limit your search results by looking only within the section you’re browsing.

• The News Browser comes stocked with several hundred legal news feeds from courts, law firms, and legal blogs around the United States.

• News sources can be browsed by subject-matter or jurisdiction.

• News stories can be emailed, tweeted, or saved to Instapaper (available separately on the App Store) for later reading from within the application.

• Application tracks feed use: you can view the number of stories downloaded, followed, shared, saved, etc.

• iPod touch users benefit from a queuing system that will save offline requests for later submission.
