previously Ping Groups could not consist of ping ranges. With version 1.69 Ping groups now supports ping ranges to be part of a group.

In this release WiFi functionality has been REMOVED.

This version contains the following bug fixes and enhancements.

- favorite entries could not be deleted (fixed)
- under certain conditions ping groups stopped pinging to early (fixed)
- new error message when trying to use ping groups as trace or dns destination

additional bug fixes

- due to a bug even if the WOL port had been changed the packet was still being send out at the default port 9. This has been fixed.

- after a WOL super favorite was being used and the default port was changed afterwards within the settings area within the application any subsequent super wol favorite being send still used the old port as long as the application was not being restarted. This issue has been fixed.

- bug fix

The new Network sorting function in 1.62 introduced a misbehaviour of the application so that when selecting network details, details of another network than the selected where being displayed

* Ping groups
- usage of result entries as inputs for different sections. just tap a result.
- WiFi

Ping groups allow you to create groups of hosts. Create for example your WAN and LAN or printer and server ping groups.
Therefore host can be selected from the Ping favorite section and associated to a group. If selected and started all selected hosts are then being fast pinged to determine their rechability. Ping groups must be selected from the favorite section for usage. You cannot simply enter their name. As soon as the input field is being entered the input field is treated as normal host entry again and not as Ping group. A group cannot consist of a ping range.

Application settings section.
While in the first versions of the tool application settings (besides of favorites) were only being accessible from the device’s settings section (for fast implementation purposed) from outside the tool now every setting can be changed on the fly from within the application (new in version 1.6)

WiFi shows the wireless networks in range including wireless channel, signal strength, network security such as WEP, WPA1, WPA2, WPA1&2, None including detailed info section which also tries to discover the AP manufactures. It furthermore allos to ad hoc connect to open and non hidden networks.

Under a certain condition where existing DNS servers could not be reached it could have happened that the display "frooze" for the time of the DNS reverse lookup timeout period when performing the automatic reverse lookup of any DNS server or default GW IP addres. This has been fixed.
