iGold retrieves and displays on your iPhone (and iPod Touch) real-time price quotes of precious metals. Simply load iGold and current spot prices of gold, silver and platinum will be instantly available on your iPhone and refreshed at pre-defined intervals, on demand or manually.

iGold requires as little as 1K of bandwidth to quickly and efficiently retrieve price quotes from Kitco.com, Ino.com and Yahoo. iGold saves you time (and money on your data plan) when you are on the go.

iGold version 2.0 is enhanced with two significant features: charts, and metal prices in multiple currencies. Simply tap the screen to access these new features.

Current and historical charts are shown for each of the precious metals. 1-day, 3-day, 1-month, 6-months, 1-year and long term charts are available from Kitco.com and Ino.com. Double-tapping on a chart zooms to reveal the chart's details. Rotating the iPhone offers a full screen view of the charts.

Precious metal prices can be viewed in multiple currencies from around the world. Up to the minute currency exchange rates are also available for as many as sixty-five different currencies, from Ino.com and Yahoo.

iGold version 2.2 is enhanced with a precious metals Calculator. The calculator allows for easy valuation of metals based on specific currency and/or metal fineness (e.g., 24k, 18k, 14k, etc.). The calculator is especially useful to jewelers in need of a quick metal value of specific jewelry. For example, it is now effortless to calculate the exact gold value for a 45.2 gram 18k gold necklace, in Euros.

Scrolling up the calculator displays the metal's common fineness measurements, priced in user-defined currency, in ounces or grams. Gold fineness measurements include 24k, 22k, 18k, 14k, 12k, 10k and 9k.

iGold's user interface is available in 10 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Hebrew and Arabic.
